I would like to see Postma; if memory serves, he was an AHL All-Star last season. Scheifele's probably staying with Barrie for the season.

Telegin will be in Barrie and the Jets won't want to tick off Hawerchuk (who literally just traded for him). He'll be in camp and will play in both the Young Stars Tournament along with maybe some pre-season games, but won't play any regular season games in the NHL this season.
Some of the players listed aren't really rookies as well. I guess technically Cormier, Machacek and Maxwell haven't accrued a season yet (40 games in a single season), but they have had shots in the NHL thus far. So as for the real rookies, I think Klingberg is most likely to grab a spot, probably third line LW. Postma is NHL ready, though.

If a player hasn't accumilated a full sesaon worth of games IMO that player is considered a rookie. What do you think?

Well I just don't think Maxwell, who has had several stints in the NHL, really should be considered a rookie. I don't think he's technically accrued a season yet. Defining what I mean is somewhat difficult, anyways.

I figured it's a toss between Maxwell and Cormier, so I went with my third choice Klingberg.
