Isn't this tecnically against the law? I mean, yeah recism and all that, but it was supposed to be a private conversation taped by his then girlfriend to use as blackmail. He didn't go out and say he hates blacks or anything against them he had his feelings private, broadcasted against his consent. If he challenges this saying the NBA is impeaching his right to freedom of speech and expression it might go on for a long time. The guy is a pie ce of crap it wount surprise me if he puts of a fight

Under California law what she did is not illegal I guess from what I've read. But I'm sure Bruinsfans knows more about this since he is going to be a lawyer soon.

According to the girlfriend, he knew the conversations was being recorded and she recorded most of their conversations. She says he has trouble remembering the conversations and uses the tapes as a reminder. If true then there really is no legal issue for the girlfriend.

Well I guess the only good news about this is that a black eye for basketball is a good thing for real sports in general But kidding aside, what sort of moron buys a freaking NBA basketball team that doesn't want anyone he knows to associate with black people?? To be overtly racist in this day and age seems dumb as it is, I guess this shows how high your IQ would have to be to be a racist if he thought he'd never be bumping into any blacks owning a freaking basketball team

I thought you'd be a big NBA fan by now since the Raptors did win their division this year.

Haha yeah I heard about that... because the Raptors/NBA ruin Sportcenter as it is and it only got worse when they were in the playoffs! Thank god they bombed out in the 1st round. Now if they can go back to basement dwellers, maybe they'll be sold/moved and I can finally fulfill my dream of watching an hour of Sportscenter without having to hear about prissy dudes running around and open-hand smacking eachother (of course that is only during the most heated of moments!)

Raptors may be decent for a while if they resign Kyle Lowry(he wants to stay). If Jonas Valanciunas ever reached his potential look out!!! Sorry your dream will NEVER happen. They ain't ever moving. Too many immigrants(Asians) who love the team. Toronto is one of the most multicultural cities in the world. Raptors have had 12 of 16 seasons of above average attendance at Air Canada, 14 of 19 seasons of above average attendance overall!!! So the Raptors were well supported when they were losers even!!! Can't ever hope the arena becomes outdated either because the Leafs have more money than god and so if a new round of arenas were needed someday the Raptors for sure would have one because of the Leafs. Other problem for you is other than Seattle there aren't really any good open markets left for NBA teams and Seattle will be filled soon(either Milwaukee or expansion). After than the pickings get slim to very bad to horrific with the likes of Las Vegas, Virginia Beach(yikes), Omaha(yikes) having the "best" shots. LOL. You better hope for either a. most immigrants are expelled for Toronto b. a plaque wipes out a massive portion of the Toronto population That's really your only shot or you're just SOL. If you became a fan sports center wouldn't be ruined anymore. Much to your chagrin the future is bright for the Raptors. Not only is Toronto the 4th biggest city in NA(using CSA) it's growing very fast too, most of that growth coming from even more immigrants who will love the Raptors. In 10 years time Toronto CSA will be bigger than Chicago CSA. I doubt the Raptors will ever win a championship due to the black superstar problem(they only want to play for about 10 big market US teams) but I think they will put together some decent teams from here on out that make the playoffs and are competitive which is a lot better than in the past. Which means as good as support has been in the past it's probably about to get even better!!! PS not only are the Raptors well supported Ontario is starting to produce a LOT of NBA players. Number 1 pick in the draft last year was from Ontario, this year it might be a repeat. Enough with this basketball players are sissies stuff. It's time for you to get on board. Basketball may actually someday become the number 1 sport in the world. It's fun, cheap and takes the most athletic skill.

I'm trying to find the downside here!
