So I have read some articles posted in 2013 an 14 about possibility of NLL ( National Lacross League) expanding and targeting CFL cities, primarily Winnipeg with Saskatoon a popular option too. Just want to hear thoughts on it. Personally I think it would be nice to have another winter sport indoors to watch as the season starts in January.

NLL has to be smart about this, they know that there is no future for box lax in america...hell its an endangered sport in canada since alot of lax players from canada are getting scholarships to come play field in the united states.
NLL knows that the only way to that league to survive is to mkae it a primarily canadian league and use only a few select box lax areas in the united states (mainly Rochester and maryland)
they also need to stop the ingame music its dumb.
iv always thought they should go to winnipeg you guys dont have a crowded sports market and it will be a good family sports night for fans who cant afford to go to many jets games or cant afford to take the whole family to jets games

I went to a Calgary Roughnecks game when I lived in Calgary.
It was fun as a novelty, but, I never went back.

Interesting. They have a poor re location/ expansion market. They really do have to be smart..why did they move Washington to Vancouver..or more specifically Everret to Langley? That doesnt exactly seem like a pro market. Some cities like Buffalo have fantastic average attendances well over 10k but then low wnd teams are 3-5 k with a few hovering between 7 and 8k a game.

indoor lacrosse is only fun if your playing it. as a spectator sport it is pure bush league. and it will be supported as such. think along the lines of the Thunder and Cyclones. THAT is what NLL can expect here.

I went to a Toronto Rock game a few years ago when I won tickets through my college. They drew alright I guess but it wasn't what I'd call an energetic crowd, pretty quiet most of the game.
