Now that we have the Jets back!!!!!! Woot Woot....Will we be able to still watch the Oilers and Flames on Sportsnet West or will we have to get Center Ice to get those games?

I would think not in MB. In Saskatchewan they will probably have access to Flames, Oilers and Jets though. That's my guess.

Well doesn't Rogers Sportsnet run different regions than Bell and TSN? Since Rogers wouldn't have its own specific region for MB and wouldn't carry any Jets game, would they still need to change their regions to exclude MB out of SNET West?

Winnipeg now has an NHL team so Manitoba is Jets exclusive regional broadcast territory. I don't see the Jets allowing the AB teams games to be shown in MB when the Jets won't have access to the AB market...Of course, you will be able to watch any out of market game if you subscribe to Centre Ice...Time to start weeding out all those Oilers fans in MB!!!

I still don't get any of this. For the record, can someone please tell me the following.
If MTS does not get regional games from Bell is there anyway I can get to watch the games in Brandon on TV. I hear conflicting reports that I will still be able to watch on Center Ice? What are my options if no Bell.

every game that would be broadcast on the tsn jets regional channel would be blocked out on center ice. id bet good money mts gets the jets channel because the subscription loss they would suffer if they dont would hurt them alot more than the same loss would hurt shaw

This is a regional channel so therefore it will be blacked out in Manitoba. Center Ice is needed to get regional games of teams not named the Winnipeg Jets. National games on TSN, CBC and NBC are excluded.

So basically I won't be able to watch any of the local broadcast games on TV. sigh If you live in MB, you should get all 82 games on local TV. If you live outside of the Winnipeg Jets' RSN territory, all Winnipeg Jets games will be available on Centre Ice for about $200 per year.

There seems to be a bit of worry out there that MTS and Shaw won't get the regional Jets channel. I can't see how either would not pick it up, whatever the cost from Bell as that cost will be passed on to the consumer. I am not worried at all...both will get the channel. It's just a matter of cost we'll have to pay.

So basically I won't be able to watch any of the local broadcast games on TV. sigh save the headaches George and just get Bell. im sure they will even give you a deal to switch over. IF, they DO NOT offer you a deal, then ask to speak to the loyalty department and tell them that either shaw or mts wants your business instead. you will get your deal. i have had Bell for the last 4 years and i think its great. before Bell i had MTS tv and thought it was limited as to what you could get.
