Craig Button was on TSN this morning raving about Ehlers. Said he's the most exciting player the Jets have drafted since Teemu. This made me wonder. How high would he go in this years draft ?

^ He might be a Jacob Trouba, after a few years of growth if they had the draft again they'd go first overall. Who went ahead of Ehlers again?

Nic Ehlers scored the OT game winner in game 7, upsetting the #5 Shawinigan Cataractes to propel the #12 Halifax Mooseheads past the first round of the playoffs. They meet #2 Moncton in the quarter-finals.

Ehlers is really lighting things up. In the Mooseheads 7-3 victory over Moncton in Round 2, Ehlers scored 4 goals and 1 assist. What's more impressive, is he leads the QMJHL in playoff points, and has contributed to 20 of 26 goals halifax has scored.
