I am really excited about this guy.
22 games: 16 goals and 30 assists = 46 points

i have a great feeling about Ehlers. The Winnipeg Jets scouting team has done an excellent job to date.

Well to be fair Ehlers was the consensus pick by the time the Jets picked at ninth. No real kudos to scouting on that.
Pavel Kraskovsky who we picked in the sixth, might end up earning our scouts some smiles, nods, and back pats though.

I could be wrong but I seem to remember a much larger American kid being a pick many others would of taken. He was drafted right after Ehlers. 2014/15 - The official return of the "White Out"!!

Future is bright now if we could package up a deal to go after the first overall pick this summer.

Nick Ritchie? He's not American. The first American was taken 15th.

Canadian Nick Ritchie was 6th on MacKenzie's scout rankings but was taken 10th. I think he's the probably the one guy people may have been calling for. Elhers was ranked 10th in bobby Mac's list so not a stretch in the least..

Ehlers is gonna be wicked. Put him on that Scheiffle line.

Looks good, but then Baertschi looked good for the Winterhawks and look how that's panning out.
Never get overly excited for a prospect, unless it's surefire they'll make it.

Ehlers 3rd goal against Russia: Holy cow, that was almost 'Thorburn toe drag against Buffalo' good. This guy may exceed Chris Thorburn! Lulz aside, that looked like magic. m.
