yeah that jersey looks good, I also agree with everything else you said. I can not stand that franchise period it's a shame the old North Stars were a respectable franchise. I liked them a little as a kid. Well until Norm Green screwed it up somehow Hockey in Minnesota failed...another Bettman Failure

^ Didn't they move before Bettman became Commissioner? Hey! Don't let facts get in the way of a good Bettman bashing. But yes, the North Stars were already on their way out when Bettman came in. Also teams people often like to blame on Bettman, the Tampa Bay Lightning, Florida Panthers, and Anaheim Ducks were all awarded pre-Bettman. New teams under Bettman are Nashville, Columbus, Minnesota, Atlanta. Relocations are Nordiques to Colorado, Jets to Phoenix, Hartford to Carolina and Atlanta to Winnipeg.

Can I blame Bettman for the Barons leaving OKC since we're at it?

One of the reasons he moved the team, was he was facing sexual harassment allegations, and his marriage was on the rocks. Greed then proceeded to do everything in his power to move the Stars, and found a receptive market in Dallas. Bettman was not even commissioner in March 1993, so he could not have done much.

Looks like interest in an NHL team in Vegas has completely fizzled out after selling 5,000 deposits in day one. In two weeks, Las Vegas has only managed to sell 6,950 deposits. At $150.00 each, that is not much: About 12 days after the initial 5,000 commitments were announced, Alan Snel of the Las Vegas Review-Journal reported that the ticket drive gained just 1,950 commitments in the time since the last report. That brought the total number of pledges up to 6,950 in a little less than two weeks.
It should be noted, that nobody anticipated that Vegas would hit their mark right away. In 2o11, the Winnipeg Jets sold out their upcoming season in just about 2 minutes (according to the CBC). Nobody saw that happening in this scenario. But after such a promising first day, it appears that the Vegas market may just not be strong enough to support a team. After all, Bettman wasn’t just looking to see if the city could hit their mark. At his press conference back in December, he stated clearly that the point of this ticket drive was to “measure the level of interest in the market.”
Even if Foley hit the 10,000 mark with commitments, it was no guarantee that they would get the team. Bettman wanted to see how smoothly this process would go and this tremendous drop-off after day one probably wasn’t what Bettman was looking for. And the fact that the minimum asking price per commitment is just 10% of the cheapest ticket price ($150) can’t be too encouraging either.----- thehockeywriters.com/questioning-the-nhls-move-to-las-vegas/

That fool Bettman will probably still give Vegas a team over Quebec IF the Vegas owner wants it because Bettman doesn't pick the best markets like other sports do. He picks "geographical balance".

Bettman and Baldy are doing an awful job. They had a hit in the winter classic and within a year they have watered it down completely. The ratings for hte game have dropped, HBO dropped the build up show most likely because whats the point of spending the production money on something you do 6 times a year? What a complete group of bafoons they all are.

This market has "fail" written all over it. There is 2,000,000 people in the Las Vegas metro area. Problem is, they are not hockey fans, and it's not like Phoenix where at least many Canadians own winter homes there. Las Vegas will not support this team, and unless they fill it up with casino patrons (the NHL wants to avoid doing this), then the franchise will not last. Just give a team to Quebec already.
