I chose Ana because if he does come back it will most likely be the last chance we get to see him play.

Home opener versus Montreal is the game of the season...unless Game 7 of the 2012 Stanley Cup Final is played at the MTS Centre!

October 15th in Phoenix - possible history hand over? m. I have been thinking the same thing. Since NHL owns the team it's entirely possible, I think Phoenix fans would be happy to be rid of it as well.

Phoenix without question. Those guys will not know what hit them.

Phoenix without question. Those guys will not know what hit them. It has to be Phoenix. They'll be skating around in the warmup wishing that they had relocated to the Peg. Once the games starts....craziness ;D

From a pure hockey (and 2nd favourite team) perspective, I had to go with Pittsburgh.

Not that I am complaining, but with having 1/2 season and picking the opening game I miss: Phoenix, Teemu, and Boston (probably Vancouver as well, but I didn't check), and potentially the playoffs. Seeing Ovechkin play live was on my bucket list, so at least I can check that one off.

Either Phoenix game. It could be the only times in history that the Old Jets play the New Jets.
Just won't be the same against the Quebec Coyotes...
