More of a long term project for the jets. But good to get these kids rolling through the farm. The jets are taking notes from Detroit. It's nice to finally have some depth and have prospects to look forward to.

No one from that draft year has played a game for the Jets yet, but it seems Morrissey and Petan could possibly make the team next year, and Copp,Kostalek, Comrie and Lodge are looking very good. I also have a good feeling about Kichton and Lipon. 2013 sure seems to be a good draft year for the Jets.

^Lipon won't be much more than an AHL lifer or potential 4th line mucker IMO, but all teams need one of those. I love the signing of all these young players. The chance of all of them making an impact is very slim, but you never know which middle to late rd picks blossom later. Like the idea of a young AHL team. Might even help with attendance if our farm team is full of our young prospects.

Yeah. A lot of these guys will probably not make the NHL but will be good players (hopefully) in the AHL. I'm not that high on Comrie as an example. Saw him in the Subway Super Series but needs lots of work in the AHL before he can even be considered.

Saw him in the Subway Super Series but needs lots of work in the AHL before he can even be considered. Agreed. Thought he looked shaky against tough competition in the World Juniors as well. Love the work Hellebuyck is getting in the AHL. He leads the league in shots face and 350 more shots against than the next closest goalie to him. Name/Team GP SA SVS GA SO GAA SAV% W L OT Hellebuyck 54 1725 1597 128 6 2.45 0.926 28 19 5 Pretty solid considering he's a rookie and the Ice Caps are not a very good team.
