Harper is the best PM we have had in like a long time.
If you vote for Liberals or NDP this country will be like Europe in no time taken over by immigrants that forces nationals to lose their identity. Harper and the PC's are the only things keeping us as Canada.
Minus Germany who have had enough of what is going on in this world Canada is actually a leader in the new era with the Americans.

150-200 years ago every person living here was an immigrant, taking over someone elses country but we dont want to talk about do we? All I am saying is that "immigrants" arent bad, its those that are allowed to come here and live off our tax dollars and dont make themselves usefull or beneficial to the economy. I am an immigrant, moved here when I was 9, straight A student while the "real Canadians" where drinking through their school years. I take a little offense at comments like these because they dont take into considerations us "immigrants" that came here, learned the language, bought and building houses, helping in the community just like a lot of your ancestors did, and guess what? Yep they were "immigrants" at one time or another as well. I think I am done, rant over just like the jets playoff hopes

I love politics and I think Harper is a very good PM, especially given the options out there (JMO), but politics belong in the water cooler!

Grades mean nothing after school. Diplomas mean nothing anymore. immigrants today are different than the ones in the '30s-'60s. Look at where they come from? Do they serve a purpose? Do they bring anything to Canada? There is a reason why the gov't has blocked the chinese to enter Canada cause they were buying land/real estate. The eco-experts finally realized that immigrants that buy into Canada does more harm than good for the already based Cdns. Anybody wanna buy a house in Winnipeg today? Anybody want to build a house in Winnipeg today? better off waiting.

Harper is the only thing that is saving Canada. Trudeau will never get in. His dad basically set this country back 100 yrs and we are still paying for his mistakes.

I'm a staunch Tory and love politics as well but I'm also a pragmatist. No matter how well a government governs a 'Time for a change' mentality can set in and such is life. The only (very real) worry I have right now is that the alternative is an absolute fool. I was good with Paul Martin - smart and talented fellow who made for a great Finance Minister. Michael Iggy was a solid fellow too and would have made an acceptable Prime Minister. But this Justin fellow? Stockwell Day should be so scary.
It's to bad Mulcair can't get any traction. I loathe his politics but I can see a smart fellow for what he is. I'll take bad policy from a smart fellow over bad policy from a windsock any day.

All three major parties are pretty much the same. If I was to vote conservative it would be if they were good with money, but Harper is arguably the worst and pissing money away, not that any other party provincially or nationally is much better.

Harper is a fawktard. reminds me a lot of that little dog that hides behind the big bulldog in the cartoons. ANYBODY will be better than that puke of a PM ...or hides in the closet, when other Parliamentary members arm themselves with spears, to prevent a crazed gunman from entering the House of Commons" Stephen Harper spent about 15 minutes hidden in a Parliament Hill closet after a gunman stormed Centre Block where he and the rest of the Conservative caucus were guarded by MPs who’d fashioned sharp spears from flagpoles, sources say.
After they heard gunfire outside their meeting room door Wednesday, members of Parliament snapped close to 15 flagpoles to make weapons. Some positioned themselves on risers that flanked doors, ready to attack an assailant. “There were 15 flags up at caucus and all but two were taken down,” one MP recalled.
“These guys were up there holding these spears ready to impale anyone who came in,” the source said. “It was that or get mowed down,” the member of Parliament said of the threat posed by a gunman who was ultimately shot dead by Parliament Hill security. Mr. Harper, meanwhile, had been whisked into a closet in the Centre Block room shortly after the gunfights outside began.
There were more than 150 Tory MPs stuck in this caucus room during the ordeal. Many MPs thought the Prime Minister had managed to get out of the room and didn’t know he was sequestered in what amounted to a cubbyhole. “Someone knew there was a closet there so they stuck him in there,” the source said.----- Our "courageous" leader: www.theglobeandmail.com/news/politics/ottawa-attack-mps-fashioned-spears-while-harper-hid-in-closet/article21278580/

I'm guessing you never, as a kid, had to move from your home because Trudeau Sr's monetary policy meant your parents couldn't make the mortgage payments anymore. If you think Harper is the worst you must not have lived under many Prime Ministers. He's not everyone's cup of tea but he's been a solid Prime Minister during a globally tumultuous time. Every developed nation wishes they had a Harper-esque hand on the tiller during this economic storm. Besides non-sequiturs and ad hominem attacks can you point to a specific policy or decision implementation that would warrant the characterization you proffered? m.
