We need to advertise this site! It is by far the best layout as we all remember from Jetsowner.com
This site should be the MAIN hub forum for Jets hockey. I will do my part and spread the word.

The last few months of Jetsowner was the equivalent of hanging out with a bunch of nimrods in a food court. I am all for good conversation, but if the bandwagoners jump here just to get some attention in their lives, it will also go downhill pretty fast.

I already posted the linkie for this site on the Minnesota Wild boards because I'm hoping to see sizable fan contingents of both teams present on each other's forums in the future! ;D

Hi guys...there is one thing you can do, which will help. We have grown really fast, but our Google search engine visibility is still not very good...meaning we are still hard to find for ppl looking for a Jets forum. In order to improve in the search engine results probably the main thing is to get this sites URL copied on as many other sites as possible. jetshockeyforum.proboards.comA major factor in google search rankings is how linked a site is to other sites... If you could post a link to this site in other forums, message boards, etc., that you visit anyway, that could help boost the google ranking...I'm not talking about spamming, just something like linking to a thread or topic in this forum on sites you may visit occasionally...some ppl have already done this...thank you...

Maybe we should consider making the board visible to non members so that they can get a "feel" for the forum but they cannot post unless they join.
I lurked on Hockey Futures Boards for about a month before I actually joined.

I lurked on Hockey Futures Boards for about a month before I actually joined. It appears non members can view via social network login...but yeah I've been thinking of changing the setting when we hit 1,000 members...however, people need to be able to find the site to see it...it'll take some time before we get ranked higher on google... ...we are btw signing up about 20 new members a day on average which is very good...

me 2 , but as long as we do not have guys making comments that put people down . I wouldn't say we have zero tolerance for that type of thing but very close. Sometimes an honest comment or opinion can be taken as a put down by some more sensitive people, but we definitely won't tolerate mean-spirited attacks on fellow members. If you notice this type of behaviour before we do, let us know. So far the "Questions and Concerns for Moderators" has 0 replies and PM's are very quiet, so that means everyone is obviously getting along very well!
