Does anyone here know , if the jets are receiving any welfare cheques from the league?

I believe only money losing teams are eligible for revenue sharing and listening to Chipman in that 1290 interview last week, it didn't sound like Jets are losing money or expecting to any time soon.

Yeah that's not correct. The only teams that 100% are not eligible for revenue sharing are the top 10. The remainder are all POTENTIALLY eligible, based on revenue formulas and payrolls. Eligibility has nothing to do with losing money.

Yeah you're right...nothing in there about making or losing money and I think they got rid of the clause that says the team has to show some increase in their own revenue to qualify. So, if Jets are getting an annual subsidy cheque, all the better...not sure if they are or not.
