Instead of Bay Area in your poll you should put a. Rot in the Coliseum forever b.Move to Santa Clara and share with the 49ers c.New Stadium in Oakland.
Jerry Jones won't allow San Antonio but that is a good choice. What is going to happen is obvious. They will rot at the Coliseum.

It's over 450 km away from Dallas. Am I missing something? I'm pretty certain Texas can support 4 NFL teams. It's a mecca for American football.

Because he's the most powerful owner. See the Rams saga from last year. Most think he won't let another team in Texas. The entire San Antonio area is filled with Cowboys fans.
With San Antonio's insane growth rate of course they could support a team(having Austin 75 miles away would be a big help too). In Texas you could also pass a stadium with 100% public funding overwhelmingly too. They build million dollar high school football stadiums in Texas. Plus dumb Arlington voters last November voted overwhelmingly to pay half the cost of a billion dollar ballpark to replace the Texas Rangers ballpark that was built in 1994 because it didn't have a retractable roof/air conditioning. There is literally no sports proposal for any sport that would ever get voted down no matter how crazy.

The nfl is looking for a vegas financier, now its about proving adelson wrong that they dont need him. Huge little man syndrome in nfl ownership.

link? Last I heard is the Raiders claim they found 2 other banks willing to loan them the missing Aldeson $$$ They found bank of america, the only reason adelson isnt involved is that he intimidates the lucky sperm rich like Johnson, Brown, spanos, Davis, etc. The NFL has the dumbest group of owners in the world. Outside of a few legitimate rich men like Kroenke (he married in but did make his own fortune too), Kraft, Jones, etc. but way too many lucky sperm rich.

Ya, I know. I posted a few links on the Las Vegas ticket drive thread.
I don't think any sports owners would have wanted Aldeson. No one would have allowed the casino connection. It's just not the rich silver spoon brats that didn't want him, I don't think the $$$ guys didn't either. Davis got what he needed from Aldeson then threw him away like a piece of trash. Pretty ruthless!!!!
Agree with you though on the brat owners. Don't forget the McCaskey's either. Mike Glennon signed for $45M, a blocking TE is signed for 10M a year and the top receiver is let go. LOL
Don't think they are the dumbest group though. NHL owners take the cake keeping Bettman and even allowing the possibility of yet another new Coyote arena.
When it's all said and done at least the NFL went 4 for 6 on the Rams,Chargers, Raiders drama. St. Louis and Oakland didn't deserve to keep teams. St. Louis was too small for 3 teams, the Raiders don't have enough fans since they came back from LA due to too many 49er super bowl wins. Rams were the right choice for LA though maybe not with a losing owner like Kroenke. Vegas will be a good choice for the Raiders.
The 2 misses were losing San Diego and the Chargers in LA. San Diego should have been given 3 years to put together a real proposal. 1 was too rushed.
4 for 6 is a lot more than anything the NHL could ever accomplish.
