Looks like even 2 Cup wins can't buy job security in the NHL...
From TSN: Kings fire Sutter, Lombardi; promote Robitaille, Blake
The Los Angeles Kings have fired coach Darryl Sutter and general manager Dean Lombardi, who led the franchise to its only two Stanley Cup championships. The Kings on Monday also promoted former defenceman Rob Blake to vice-president and general manager, while longtime executive Luc Robitaille will be their new team president in charge of all hockey and business operations.

I'm suprised it did not happen sooner. There were rumors of dissension, and a possible player revolt against Sutter, after the Kings failed to make the playoffs in 2015.

This is just the start. We are looking at a blow up. The team has very little in terms of prospects.
A bunch of old timers.
