From the Chicago Blackhawks, defenseman Trevor van Riemsdyk.
From the Pittsburgh Penguins, goaltender Marc-Andre Fleury. Vegas also acquired a 2020 second-round pick from the Penguins.

Sad to see Shea Theodore go, he looks to be a pretty good defensemman. Still, I'm glad we got to hang onto Vatanen, who was unprotected, so probably a bit of backroom dealing, giving up Theodore instead of their taking Vatanen.
Everyone thought Fleury was Vegas-bound, and so he is.
Have no clue about Chris Thornburg--will you miss him, Jets fans? And what do you think of the trade, dealing this year's 1st round pick at 13th overall for the 24th pick...what's the thought process there?
