Calgary vs Winnipeg. Winner take all. What a joke the East Division is this year:
Standings after tonight:
WEST
x-Calgary 12-1-1 Winnipeg 9-3-0 Edmonton 7-5-0 Saskatchewan 7-6-0 BC 6-6-0
EAST
Toronto 6-7-0 Ottawa 5-9-1 Hamilton 3-9-0 Montreal 3-11-0
West has a 24-5-1 record vs East Division teams. It would be a shame if a team like Toronto finishes 8-10-0 goes to the Grey Cup while Winnipeg (14-4-0) gets defeated in Calgary.

It would make sense to have all teams in one division and a playoff format that would allow the 2 best teams to play for the Grey Cup. Unfortunately, I think the status quo will remain.

Agreed but if the Argos are out of it by mid July every year, then the CFL hurts apparently. That’s why a one division will never happen.

This happened in the NBA though for many many years when the west was way stronger than the east. Also happened many times in the NFL in the 90's when NFC dominated AFC. Any sport with conferences go through this so it's not just a CFL thing
