Petan has more trade value than Dano. Dano might be ok for the playoffs as he plays pretty heavy. tank like.
Depending on Mason situation with his concussions, Hutch resigns next year here?

I don't see Chevy making any moves. Gms are trying to sell too high.

Yeah I think Petan has some trade value based on perceived potential...maybe him and a 3rd would be enough to get Maroon from the Oilers; although dealing with that team would feel kind of like dealing with the devil. Dano and Matthias if he could get healthy and stay healthy for a series could actually be valuable depth players in the playoffs IMO. I don't think they're great players but I imagine they will be very motivated to contribute something and show they are still viable NHLers. I think they are serviceable if you get into on of those really dirty grinding series where the other team's strategy is to just keep pounding away until you have nothing left to give...Ducks for example.

Matthias and Petan have not shown that they are NHL caliber, Dano has shown flashes, and Hutchinson may not want to be here any more.

I see this years first round pick being dangled around with a prospect, Why not! Hutch won't be one of those prospects, and if the right person is avalable I think Brendan Lemieux or Joel Armia could be made available, Nick Petan is what he is and I don't think even with what he did in the AHL many guys will be really be interested or he will be a small piece in a big trade.
