I won't trash any of them until I see/hear the injury reports.

If its any consolation, Hellebuyck took full responsibility in a post-game interview. Apparently he was devastated.

I wonder if the 3rd round is going to be the only one where there is never more than a 1 day break between games?

I can't believe after making it to the WCF, this thread exists.
Not winning the cup is my only negative.

I'm going with Little as he's the vet and had favourable matchups and should have produced. The other guys are young and simply don't have the experience or wisdom yet. Little should have been the guy to lead by example instead he blended in and did well little! We can harp on Laine, Helle or Ehlers but this was all new. They did have their moments overall Helle was pretty damn good but where were the other vets like Little. Even Perreault had flashes he was just snakebitten. To me they lost because of this and Maurice's loyalty to Enstrom. Morrow or Kulikov should have been in there from the start..

If you want cheer/cheer 100% of the time I'd recommend friends of the Winnipeg Jets facebook page. No negativity allowed. Here, opinions are sought and welcomed. I thought you knew that by now.

Meh, Helle had a rough series as compared to his regular season, but the entire team didn't have a great series. Nothing but positives to look forward to in the future IMO!!
Go Jets Go!!

Watching the Caps play for their playoff lives tonight, couldn't help but think that was exactly what I was expecting from the Jets in games 4 and 5 at least. Never came close to it imo.
But Caps have been down this road many times with arguably more talented teams who have done less...so as everyone knows, experience often does count for a lot. I think Jets are missing a key player or two...the player I've always expected Lemieux to be. Mainly the element Hendricks brings but in a younger man who can do it through four rounds of the playoffs. Smith-Pelly looked really good for the Caps tonight...not nearly the most talented player on the team but did his job.

Someone pointed out that the Jets seem to be on a parallel journey with the 2009 Chicago Blackhawks. Chicago defied expectations, beat Vancouver in the 2nd round, and went on to lose to the Red Wings. The next year they won the cup. I think this experience will help the boys grow, and compete with more intensity next year.

My two cents, putting Tobi back in the lineup was a bad mistake, we were doing pretty well without him and that was the same scenario all season when he was out, that was a major mistake screwing with our chemistry. Could the goal tending been better the last series, sure but in the end that wasn't the problem, our problem was experience and now we have some. I wasn't happy that Laine looked more motivated with the Rocket Richard Trophy then the Stanley cup and I am still a strong believer that we could use a little more gritty Canadian content on our team, as most of you seen, most of our European talent went missing in the playoffs. There needs to be a few changes and we have other talents that need to be explored in our system. I think its time for us also to have that long talk with Trouba and either fish or cut bait, he's in or he's out, and last we need to sign Hutch because he should be our backup!

With you on Enstrom. Loyalty insertion and nothing more. Another Thrasher gone hopefully as there was very little from that team worth preserving. The Score had an article "3 things that led to the Jets' demise vs. Golden Knights": (1) Goaltending: Fleury STAT Hellebucyk 4 GP 4 135 Shots against 118 6 GA 11 .956 SV% .907 1.50 GAA 2.82 Also noted that Fleury faced a higher number of quality scoring chances. (2) Lack of Secondary Scoring (3) GN opportunistic play Game 2 Jets score:VGK responds in 88 seconds Game 3 Jets score: VGK responds in 12 seconds Game 4, Jets score; VGK responds in 43 seconds. The Jets outplayed VGK: outshot them 161-140 On 5-5 Jets had 60 high danger scoring chances to 40 for VGK. However, VGK was able to capitalize on 7 of those to only three for the Jets - so the high danger save % works out to .950 for Fleury and .825 for Hellebucyk. www.thescore.com/nhl/news
