Expected to be formally announced tomorrow, Winnipeg back in the WHL! First 2 years to play out of U of M while new south end (Oak Bluff) arena is being built.

It's a different group.
I don't think the above link was working...I think it's fixed now, but according to the article, Greg Fettes is the owner (bought the team over a year ago)...his company is "50 Below Sports & Entertainment"

Is Winnipeg a big enough market for 3 teams? I think no, and we shall see if Moose move and to where...I believe ND but of course there have been no announcements that Moose are considering a move, so...

Well if TN has nothing to do with the ice why would they move their product to help out competition?

Well, you have to take a look at how Moose attendance is trending already...i.e. down, down. Jets ticket prices are trending up, up, so competition for the hockey dollar is pretty fierce I think. Jets will always be king, but I don't even know that it's a slam dunk that Winnipeg can support WHL with NHL... I think it likely can if it's priced right but it's not been tried in several decades.
