Well, i sure wish i was flying up today to attend this, but i sure hope to see lots of people out and about when i get there Friday afternoon. Where should i get my first dinner at tomorrow night? I'm taking suggestions Depends what you want... Chinese: Summer Palace (Pembina), Kum Koon Garden (King) [good Dim Sum] Sushi: Momo or Masa (Pembina), Kenko (Corydon) Pizza: Cafe 22 (Corydon, Provencher or Broadway) Burgers: Dairy Whip (Marion), Jonny G's or VJ's (Main) Pub Fare: Elephant & Castle (St. Mary) [City's best calamari, I think], Tavern United (Pembina, Downtown) Italian: Sorrento's (Notre Dame), Belissimo [Waverly], Pasquale's (Marion) Mexican: Burrito Del Rio (River) South American: Hermano's (Bannatyne) Finer Dining: Bistro 7 1/4 (Osbourne), Terrace 55 (Assiniboine Park), Fude (Osbourne), 529 Wellington (Wellington) [Expensive steak house, worth every penny]

Awesome time down at the Forks. The opening night t-shirts are great except that the line-up on the back is already a little dated and no #55. I picked one up anyway.

what a party!!!!
i am not a good estimator of crowds, but was in the tens of thousands. beer line for the Molson tent had an interesting system (2 beer each) but whatever.
that was a perfect night in winnipeg. huge crowd, great vibe, all positive and lots of 'go jets go' going on.
was odd watching the "live" event unfold (that is, all timed to CBCs needs) but fun nonetheless.
GO JETS GO

Unbelievable night in Winnipeg once again! The Jets have officially made this City the best place to live, I can't wait to do it all over again on Sunday!!!
Got to Meet George Stroumboulopoulos and he lived up to his title of one of the most "influential people in Canada". What a truely nice and genuine person, definetly one of the greatest experiances of my life! Can not say enough about him!
Also got to meet Andrew Ladd before the big game on Sunday and talked to him about how amazing it will be. I got him to sign my Everyday Im Scheifelin T-Shirt and wanted to get one to wear in the locker room haha.
