We're going to our second game of the season tonight, and will be at another one in March when our grandson plays some timbits in between periods. We have Bomber season tickets, for those bitching about the parking downtown try getting out of U lot after a Bomber game. When it's a close football game with a big crowd it's guaranteed to be 40 minutes just to get out of the parking lot!We never have trouble heading home after hockey. Park in the gold lot, easy access to University Crescent to Pembina and then for me Bishop Grandin (or whatever it will be called when Bowman renames it)

I want to point out as well that I have been to eight away Jets games so far. (Ottawa, Montreal, Buffalo, Florida, Tampa, San Jose, LA and Anaheim)
Aside from Montreal nothing any more special than what we have here for when the team first comes out. There are always lineups for the bathrooms as you have thousands of people going at the same time, the music was mostly classic rock, same sort of in game promotions (although I liked LA where they had an LA fan up against a Winnipeg fan) Drove to all the games except Montreal and getting out took a while (of course didn't know any local secrets to get out)
The noise from the crowd during regular season mainly comes from the team entrance and when they score or almost score or a great save. It's not playoffs where it's crazy al the time.
I don't feel taken for granted by True North as a season ticket holder.
I am not happy with what happened to our defense this year, but the last couple games looked better and I like that Niku is on second pairing, now replace Pionk with Niku on first PP! Go Jets Go

Just a comment about the game day experience elsewhere. The Flames and Oilers game day experience is no different than what the Jets currently are experiencing. Quiet when nothing is happening and loud when it is. So in that regard its SNAFU. And even in Edmonton's hay day you could hear Sather cussing the refs from the other side of the Mausoleum from me, if it was a boring game or a quiet moment. I guess Winnipeg's crowd has become more selective in their cheering and jeering!

ONE HOUR, 3 minutes from section 306 to Sage Creek tonight. Terrible Did you get lost ? Lol! From row 10 of 306 to the door 11 minutes. From the door of the arena to my car in the convention center a 7 minute walk. Get out of the convention center was 21 minutes. Convention center to pulling into my garage 24 minutes. All to watch a at best average game, have a women that thought she was UFC fighter in front of me to my left with a toque and pompom on it blocking my view, bobbing and weaving to make sure she never lost sight of the puck once to the left and a guy built like a brick s!!! House to the right that didn’t even fit in his seat. He had no choice but to lean blocking my view on the net to the right. Was yet another great night at the rink.

When I parked at the cc we backed in right near the exit, it took less than 2 minutes to get out. What do they charge now? I park right next to the rink on Hargrave $20

Not sure if has to do if there’s an event on there or not but the price changes from week to week at times.
