They should have all done what the raptors did and go straight to orlando and quarentine right away. Might have had better results that way

According to CBC News, the largest hospital in Edmonton has been closed to admissions due to an outbreak of COVID virus there among staff. I wonder what this will mean to the NHL's tentative plans to use Edmonton as a hub city. Winnipeg might look real attractive. Apparently Las Vegas was on the short list but has been deleted due an outbreak in that city.

So when I last read the CBC it was the Misericordia Hospital that was going through an outbreak. While it's an important cog it isn't the largest hospital in Edmonton. It did have COVID wards though. The University Hospital and Royal Alexander Hospitals are far bigger than the MGH. However that doesn't mean it's not a serious problem for Alberta Health to face and remedy to the satisfaction of the City of Edmonton, the NHLPA and the NHL itself. Never a dull moment with COVID.

I have had sore throat, and feel slightly feverish the last couple of days. If this gets worse, I will have to get tested, or I may do it regardless tomorrow. Having Edmonton as a hub city with bring on a COVID breakout here. I don't want the NHL in Edmonton.

Spread it around for a few days first.

I have not been within 6 feet of anyone. Additionally, how should I know what it is? It probably is not COVID, but I felt a little weak and feverish, so I am phoning 311. You should not be condescending. Having said that, my appointment is Friday. Wish me luck!

Get tested bro.Note that CDC included additional symptoms in the COVID range - now nausea and diarrhea as of yesterday.

Mr Iceland how did the nose probe go? I used to live 5" south of the MGH myself in the Wolf Willow area back in the late 80s. The west side was a nice area, save W.E.M.! That was a blight even back then.

That was a blight even back then. West Edmonton Mall I rarely ever go there. I don't understand the appeal unless you love shopping. It's a mystery why they never built an LRT to the area though. I guess I will find out soon enough. Probably nothing, but better safe than sorry.
