Caufield scores in a tight playoff game. Take that PM. Play your best players regardless of age and stature!!!! And he is on a 5 game point streak.

Wow big cut to Perry missed. Blood everywhere. Vegas bias again?

Great overtime, I thought. Never cheered so loud for a Canadiens goal since 1971. Well this could really get interesting unless COVID rears it's ugly pimple head. HC out it would be highly unusual, I think, that the players haven't gotten infected as well.

What a finish to the TB NYI game. Down 3-2 TB gets called for a fake penalty and that takes away their EN extra man and The Islanders kill the the time remaining but McDonough still makes a Savardian spinnerama in front of the net with 2 seconds and a D man saves the game. But that penalty may have been a make up call for the TB goal with extra men, all 2 of them, in Game 1. What a home crowd and what a finish. Check your VCRs folks!

HC out it would be highly unusual, I think, that the players haven't gotten infected as well. I would never wish covid on anyone that's for sure, but if Maurice had decided to take a couple of nights off and turn the reins over to D.Lowry, that would be interesting! Anyway, I hate the Habs - of course - but would still love to see them beat Vegas! Could they actually do it?
Game 3, Vegas pretty much dominated 2 periods but they do seem to lack and elite finisher..and Habs defense and defensive structure (including Price) really seemed to wear Vegas down by the end of the game. And then Fleury doing his best Hellebuyck imitation behind the net to top it off. I think Habs could actually win this thing! Chiarot, Armia are such key players...someone remind what we got for those guys again?

Wow another classic playoff referreeing moment. Seems like every game has some sort of bone headed call or in this case lack of one. At the end of the second period Habs score and get a PP. And with 2 seconds left in the period Suzuki gets punched to the face right in front of the ref too. Even Bieksa thought it deserved a penalty. As he called it, the refs are using Prison rules.

So it's not just me, but the lack of calls against the LVK, and the ticky tacky ones called on the HABS is getting attention outside of Habs Nation. Perry left bloodied on the ice, a serious boarding and subsequent cross check by Nosek all in one sequence, and then the full on punch to the face of Suzuki, all ignored by the Refs. While the NHL wants a big market team they definitely want LV in. As someone wrote earlier it is hard to watch playoff hockey when refs swallow their whistle for one team and not the other. Rules in regular season are ignored and then they are variably applied in a game. But this series is exceedingly bad for one sided calls. And, no I am not a Habs fan. My second choice is Edmonton!😁

Another example of different strokes for different folks; Barzal crosschecked a TB player to the neck and head ALA Morrissey on Staal 3 years ago.44 was tossed for a playoff game. Barzal gets a 5K fine. Hmm!?

Well SgtBarnes Caufield is quite the addition to Mtl and as said before a prime example of playing your best player regardless of experience. What speed, shot and commitment to backchecking. He could be a highlite reel for the Jets 55 and 81 to look at.

Wow, who'da thunk it. 4-1 in Vegas no less. When your cheering for the Habs, Perry and Gallagher transform from boogeyman to warriors and heros.

Absolutely brutal refereeing. How many times have I said that? Crosschecks that injured star players right in front of refs. The NHL will reap what their refs sow.

Some really terrific hockey despite the reffing...yeah it's really shocking the stuff they're letting go. The only logical explanation has to be some directive coming from above because I can't see any ref with an ounce of integrity choosing to ignore these things that are happening right in front of them.

Well at least we got beat by the eventual conference winner. I never thought I'd be cheering for Le Habitant. Amazing performance by their young guns, their Defense and Carey Price. They will be a tough out at the least for whomever wins the other series.
