I thought we could use a new thread for this. The IC boys reported these lines
The lines were as follows:
Connor-Scheifele-Vilardi Barron-Kupari-Namestnikov Viel-Gustafsson-Barlow Torgersson-Lucius-Reichel
Morrissey-Salomonsson Samberg-Pionk Stanley-Capobianco Sautner-Stewart
Hellebuyck Delia

According to Bones they split them into 2 groups so there was more room on the ice and more ability to work them more. In other camp news Cody Barlow signed his ELC and Ehlers left with neck spasms.

Based on the defensive pairings on the two teams, it seems like the Winnipeg Jets are giving Samberg & Heinola some chance of moving up in the lineup.
Samberg is being paired with Pionk as a potential 2nd pairing duo, while Heinola is partnering with Schmidt in what could be a 3rd pairing of defenders.
While I doubt the Jets end up getting rid of Dillon to allow those promotions, the team is at least looking at how they could be included on the NHL team's roster.

The team needs Dillon. He's is the only guy with toughness and grit back there assuming the big guy Stanley is a seventh wheel.

It was interesting to hear Bones say we were the top team at getting the puck into the slot but it didn't turn into goals. His answer was 1- Making to many or extra plays. 2- Taking to long to shoot. 3- Missing the net.

^^^ I heard him say that too. Quite surprising that the 23rd best scoring team led the NHL in getting pucks into the slot.

I'm going to try to give Perf some benefit of the doubt. When Lowry first started he had injury problems (AHL). Big guy like that you think why? His body still didnt catch up to the next level from Juniors. So Perf has to develop physically to get to the next level. He's not a great skater but he has the touch and is sharp as hell as far as hockey sense. But his achilles heel is his health.

Pionk has to be on the hot seat this season. His salary, although not huge, is substantial and he did not earn it last season. He actually regressed and will be trade bait unless he starts and continues strong.

You gotta give him a chance, I’m sure that he will have a bounce back season, give him a chance, he already knows that last season was not his best, he will bounce back👍.
