I recently decided to try my hand at an unpaid writer spot at another Winnipeg Jets fan site, using the same name as I do here (BigOlJetAirliner).
While this won't alter my level of participation in discussions on this site (you all rock!!), you will probably see a few less long-winded posts from me because those thoughts are posted on the other site. I still plan on posting some of my "articles" exclusively on JetsHockeyForum and have one in the works about Heinola that should be up fairly soon.
I am certainly not trying to get people to move on from this site, but if you happen to be interested in some extra Winnipeg Jets related news/writing on top of the wonderful content here, please feel free to give Arctic Ice Hockey a try (or a 2nd chance). I will be one of three writers on the site and am not exactly sure what role I will play yet, but have had the opportunity to post a couple analytical articles so far.
With Ric O's gracious permission, I got the approval to link some of my articles from AIH on this site. I won't bother if I am required to do more straight-forward articles like previews as they are done well on this site, but would like to share the ones where I do something like an analysis of a salary cap situation or point productions. Those two examples weren't pulled from thin air, since I have already had an article up looking at the average point productions in the NHL based on time on ice (and how the Jets compared) on the site and will have another up at 9 am tomorrow looking at next year's cap situation after the Hellebuyck/Scheifele extensions were signed.
Here is a link to the average point production article, feel free to comment here or become a member of AIH too. Always look forward to hearing comments and perspectives from other knowledgeable hockey fans.

I also thought this thread would be a good place for any of us to link any articles from news organizations about the Winnipeg Jets that we feel JHF members would enjoy.
