I'm assuming the Hellebuyck raggers have been quieted? Let in a bad goal and then shut the door. What exactly is a Veznia? when is the last time he let in more than 2? I actually don't know...

Saw the first came back for the last must have been a good one. Can't complain 3 out of 4 games. But fans are like farmers/golfers, you can always do better.

And I'm sure he's going to have a few brain farts handling the puck but even that is so much better this year... I can't believe I'm saying that but it's true - to my eye test anyway.

Valardi is already a better player than Pouty PLD And I don't think PLD cares, which says everything we need to know about selfish PLD.

The Kings only had 1 expected goal at 5 on 5, while the Jets had a smidge under 2.
If a team can shut down an opponent like that and get timely scoring....they could go far. One shot by Los Angeles in the final 10 minutes even though they were down by two. Pretty impressive.

Absolutely true Ric because I said so in week one!😁 I think Bros was working with him over the summer. Didn't Dan say 37 might have looking for an EN himself?

I know he's has a few EN in the past, but they were all on his own net. Regardless he handles the puck much better this year.

Makes sense that he took some pointers from a guy like Brossoit...can't say the guy doesn't work on improving his game. Yeah, I think he really tried to score there...after seeing that, I think that actually might be in his future.

I dunno. His save % has been going up. And his GA down. A good trend. The vast majority of the time he gives the Jets a chance to win. I wasn't a fan of the long term deal, but I hardly consider him a weak spot on this team.

And honestly, a weak goal? Sure. In my mind it was more just a fluke. 98% of the goal is covered. Seeing eye kind of thing.

Scheif and his wingers are really starting to get their mojo going. As mentioned here a few times Ehlers is looking like he did a few years ago. Vilardi is living up to his potential and maybe a little more. Awesome trade by Chevy for that guy who didn't want to be here. Names and Iafallo need a winger who can actually win a puck battle and throw a few hits.

Just finished the 3rd period this morning. What a gutsy comeback.they absolutely dominated those last 2 periods against a top rung team. AND they were on a back to back, 3 games in 4 days. They are now at 18 straight games allowing 2 goals or less.
On another topic, Jansen Harkins scored in the 12th round of a shootout ( longest ever ) to win a game for the Penguins. He also has no points this year.
