I'm not sure Heinola or Chisholm can crack this line up right now either. It would be great to have some depth back there for playoffs though...I remember one season when we had d-men dropping like flies and luckily we had guys who could fill in adequately. I still like the idea of having the big guy in the wings if you need to fill a spot. I'd be surprised if Chevy moves any of them before the deadline, unless there's a player (D or F) out there he just can't do without and the other team is demanding one of our d-men. I heard Monahan's name mentioned the other day as though this is someone Chevy might be targeting. Good fit? I think he actually fits our style pretty well. I always think of him as injury prone though... and I think Monahan will be cheaper than Lindholm. I also heard Stamkos' name float around for the Jets. But I can't imagine what they'd have to give up for that. If you got Lindholm, it's likely as a pure rental and Chevy would have to be thinking serious playoff run. The money's not the issue. It's what you give up. The mantra is win now.

The Jets have the second best home record in the NHL, 13-5-2.

There was a few interesting players in the Spengler Cup playing in Europe but don't ask me to remember their names.
