14 more games to catch the 1928-29 Bruins' 44 for the official NHL record....would be something to see, but want them at least to pass Minnesota's 35 games to get the post-expansion thing. Yes, one game at a time and naturally it will come to an end some time.ย It's just mind boggling really that the Jets are even in the mix for some kind of defensive record...it's never really been the Jets forte, at least not at an elite level, in any season I've watched the Jets. Itโs all great, so far itโs been such an enjoyable season to be watching the Jets, itโs AWESOME, great to see and experience as a lifelong Jets fan since 1972/WHA days!

Forgot to mention:
With the 5 zip win over Columbus tonight, Jets expanded their points streak to 13 games, 11-0-2, AWESOME. The Franchise Record keeps on growing and going๐.
GO JETS GO, GO JETS GO, GO JETS GO๐๐๐!!!
Cheers,

Nice round 30 and counting of the goals allowed thing. Heard on one of the talk shows the other day that Jets apparently are taking a lot of pride in this stat and presumably pursuit of the "record". Didn't help the Wild in their pursuit of the Holy Grail. Sorry Padre about the biblical metaphor. Or was that Monty Python's Life of Brian?

So is it confirmed no injury to scheifele? Nothing confirmed but he came back out on the ice at the end of the game to congratulate Helly.

Well, since the bible doesn't actaully mention the grail anywhere, I think you're free and clear. And keeping the Holy Grail separate from Lord Stanley's Cup is sort of like knowing the difference between a European or African swallow, laden or unladened. Make sure you truly know the differe...AAAAAAHHHHHHH

So is it confirmed no injury to scheifele? Read this morning that he got a few stitches. It was good to see him out at the end. Certainly no need to put him back into the game with the score as it was.

The records are great, and the fans are coming back to the barn. Well maybe not all of them...last night was 12,900. And without being called a Debbie-downer......look what happened last season to Boston. Look what happened to the Bombers despite all the tremendous stats.

Interesting interview with Ehlers today. He keeps lamenting his own play. He says he played like crap against the Jackets. If he's playing poorly, let's look forward to him peaking.
As far as responsible 2 way hockey, he was the best player on the ice. He makes a blunder here and there, like everyone else. He does try to force plays a bit too often, but I've noticed that some of his passes are so quick and slick that he catches teammates by surprise and what looks like a bad pass really isn't all that bad.
+20 on the season. 32 pts in 40 games. His metrics are outstanding. The analytics guys rave about him.
Don't be so hard on yourself, Fly. You're doing OK.
