Home sweet home for the Jets and hopefully no letdown. There's really no reason to expect one; this version of the Jets has been so consistently good, they do not letdown. They just haven't used any adversity as an excuse to come out an play a bad game. To the contrary, they seem to thrive on adversity, as great teams do.
The Blue Jackets aren't really a terrible team, they have some notable injuries that are problably holding them back somewhat...Laine, Werenski, Jenner.
They still have some dangerous players though who could surprise the Jets if they aren't ready...Gaudreau, Fantilli, Sillinger, Provorov, Roslovic.
They also have a couple of goalies who I can't really say I know much about...Daniil Tarasov and Spencer Martin. I'm not sure which one will start tonight but I won't be surprised if he plays like the second coming of Dominik Hasek.
Heinola will not play tonight but appears ready to go as he's skating with the team in regular jersey. He may be sitting and watching for a while, waiting for an injury or something.
Kupari is apparently going to the Moose for a conditioning stint.
Gustafsson and Connor are skating but still in non-contact jerseys.
TSN has a pregame show scheduled on the program guide; let's see if they follow through with that.
From Illegal Curve:
Jets projected lines & D pairs:
Perfetti - Scheifele - Iafallo Ehlers - Namestnikov - Vilardi Niederreiter - Lowry - Appleton Barron - Toninato - Jonsson-Fjallby
Morrissey - DeMelo Dillon - Pionk Samberg - Schmidt
Hellebuyck Brossoit
Go JETS GO!

The 1st game home after a well played road trip and the excitement of having their mentors on it, I hope there's not to much of a letdown. This home stand has the potential to really rack up some more points. Go Jets Go !

Rico said : " TSN has a pregame show scheduled on the program guide; let's see if they follow through with that." And the answer is no ,of course. Edit : I shouldn't be so cynical about TSN. We'll see

My sympathies Wolfman. It's been a long time since I've worked the night shift but I remember how much it sucked to have to work while a good hockey game is on!

Every time I hear Adam Fantilli's name I hear the Big Bopper singing Chantilly Lace in my head.
Anyone else old enough to have this problem??
**not actually old enough to be around for the 50's, but my ears do enjoy a lot of the 50's music (Buddy Holly/Otis Redding/etc) and go back even farther (Sinatra/Martin)

I'll try channeling Nostradamus and predict a 3rd line goal and another Winnipeg powerplay goal. (Vilardi or Perfetti?)
