BTW, we are not going to win every game, gonna win some, gonna lose some, hopefully ya win more than ya lose, so far, looking pretty good for the Jets, we were bound to lose at some point.
We lost, it’s over and done with, Jets will start another winning streak as per the usual this season.
And yeah, Scheif was missed tonight, show’s how important that he is to this Jets Team.
Cheers,
2b9😉👍

9 out of 10 games like that, you win well played game We had our chances, they didn’t go in. However, we didn’t play well, we didn’t play up to this season’s Jets standards, that’s why we lost. It’s unfortunate, it’s the way it goes, not gonna win every game. Onto the next game, time to start another win streak, it’s inevitable, it’ll happen.

Hard to win every game never mind not having you're best two forwards out of the lineup. Everyone loves Lowry but he's not a 1st line center. The PP will kill this team so adding a specialist there would help.

Went to the game last night. Pucks bouncing everywhere, whiffed shots, passes into the feet, on and on. Our power play is terrible, and like a few have said, it's gotta get better or we're not going to last long in the playoffs. Wait, maybe they will don't the ref's put away their whistles in the playoffs?? Our PP system needs to change, far too predictable, and we have no one going to the net. I'm not a hockey genius or coach, but having a guy BESIDE the net doesn't screen the goalie. We need to fix the power play.

The PP will kill this team so adding a specialist there would help. In my opinion, the problem wasn't Lowry on the 1st line, it was Lowry not on the 3rd line. The Jets won the expected goal battle at 5 on 5 with three of the four forward lines. The 2nd line was in the 90's, the 1st & 4th were in the mid-to-high 50's, and the 3rd line was close to 10%.

The coaches have stated many times that the PLAN on the PP and what they emphasize is getting players to the net. The players, though, seem to default to the perimter passing scheme. I think the lack of 'will' to chnage is a lot like last year where the team did not compleety change to the defensive structure and defaulted to the wild west style of play. Now the team has bought in to the overall structure and it the PP has to buy in to getting in front of the net.

My impression is the team looked tired both physically and mentally. The run they've been on and the style of play requires dedicated recuperation time between games. It seems to me that it just caught up and the tanks were empty. A few guys tried to push back but it wasn't enough. Hopefully they get the rest they need and get back to their successful ways. A healthy Scheiffle and KC will make a huge difference.

I get it. You can't win every game. But I'm concerned about what happened in the New Year last year.. Let's not fool ourselves. Cumulative game win % of the 7 game 6-1 record is .43. Things are going to pick up. I also get it. Missing our two top forwards on line 1. That's going to hurt. But the next seven games cumulative win % is .50 and only two of those teams have losing records - the Wild and Sharks. And we have troubles with the Sharks.

Lenny two phrases: face off and power play...improve both and we are smooth.
