Think that was the highest MoneyPuck expected goal game for the Jets this season....they led 5.4 to 2.76 in the game, but 5 on 5 was much closer (2.45-2.28).
Top two lines had xG percentages above 50%: 1st 74.6% and 2nd 68.8%. Both the bottom six were under: 4th 47.4% and 3rd 42.7%.
Can the team really be back to full health on Saturday? Would love to see them start playing strong once that happens.

Even with Appleton's goal, I'm not seeing the plays from him. I'd rather see Barron up on the 3rd line. Too many missed passes to & from, to be deserving of that spot.

Nice win by the Jets!
Back into 1st in the Central Division, the Western Conference and the NHL.
33 consecutive games and counting allowing 3 goals or less against.
Kyle Connor back into the lineup, and he scores.
Hopefully a new long winning streak has started again.
Cheers All,

It sure didn't feel like the Jets were 2X as goal expected metric. Nice to see we won the FO %.

If you want to check out my recap at Arctic Ice, the final shot chart shows where all the chances came from and Winnipeg had so many right around the crease (high expected goals), it really increased the Jets totals. www.arcticicehockey.com/recap-new-york-islanders-winnipeg-jets/**the bigger the circle, the higher the xG.**
