Post game interview with Dillon: the team is mentally and physically tired. Does that mean that other teams have played fewer games and are not tired? Now that you mention it, our schedule has been lighter this year, so far, than any in memory. In my memory anyway. Seems like there's been a lot of days off. The Jets have played less games than most of the teams in the west.

At the end of the day, the better team won. I'm just not impressed with the 60 minute effort. And the shooting. Missed nets are killing a lot of O-zone possessions. Throw in FOs! We routinely are on the losing % of FO wins. First part of the PP, and we can't get that right. Power play futility and faceoff incompetence have to be blamed on the coaching, and that has to change before the problem is resolved.

Hopefully Bones gives the team the "no push back" rant. It's up to the players to respond and so far they haven't. Drought of goals is not because 55 is gone. Everyone has seized up. Defense is doing the job PP as predicted was going to cost us games. Last 2 games should have been ours. Everyone knows what to do. Why can't it happen. Panic time, unless the Jets re-ignite their game. Fans won't be impressed either. Good summary. Could just be a mid-season slump that the break will be able to reset...let's hope. I know last year's collapse is too fresh to ignore.

You guys are aware people from here travel with the leafs because of how expensive tickets are in Toronto right So airfare, hotel, tickets and meals are a saving? No way. The majority of these people are Winnipegers, and probably a lot of season ticket holders among them. I live in burlington ontario. It would have been cheaper for me to fly to winnipeg, get a hotel and tickets on a Saturday night than to go to most leafs games in toronto

Well this is a reach maybe, but it has to really be draining and perceived as exhausting when your game has become such that your only hope to win is to prevent goals. Not much uplift you'd think you'd get by scoring a reasonable number of goals. As wolfman says, they need Scheif back...but we still have guys who should be able to score. Where's Connor? And where's Nic, Christian, Gabe, Cole, Josh...etc...etc?

The frustration we fans feel has to be way worse for players to see their team, which was rolling along, go through a prolonged collapse while the team management does nothing to help.

The way the central is, it'll be next to impossible to fall out of the top 3.
The big issue will be who you face in the 1st round.
After the break, it's the Pens in their rink. That'll be the time to right the ship. You can't be tired then.

I know the trend is down for a while but even if it's say 10 games, they're 6-3-1 in that stretch, which is pretty decent. Even going dismal .500 including loser points the rest of the season gets the Jets to 100 points and into the playoffs. I'm sure Chevy's going to get some help...I'm convinced he's going to get a centerman who will fit in and help. At what cost though...we'll see.

Does somebody offer some kind of all inclusive package? I just looked at my ticket bookie and a good opponent. I can buy 2 tickets for Vegas at TO, about $145 each CAD. Nosebleeds? Hell yes. Tickets nonetheless.

Loser team same as last year. Don’t put any stock in these losers and their lack of killer instinct. Broken record, I’ve said it before…. This team is still a 3 dressed up as a 9

All thr Jets scorers seemed like they lacked intensity really looked like all third line players lacking creativity? Maybe try Lambert and Chibs out ? So when we talk about a peice that fits the jets for a playoff run? We need a Star player not boring board jumping players?

No frickin game breakers.......
Always a lower ehlers injury again or something else in the groin......a 3rd line captain with mediocre skill leading the team......really?
Nice guys that like it here becuase they don't fit the toughness lineups elsewhere anymore.......
No Bogosians that used to level players along the boards, no Bufugliens that skated around other players with one hand on the stick and the other stiff arming the opposing player......dare I say no Kanes that would crack you with his helmet in a fight and score 2 goals later......
Nope, thse guys are all in Edmonton now because TN doesnt like dirt and grit on this team even if it means they'd be tougher with some skill.
