I'm not walking off a cliff just yet.
But.
The Jets are a good hockey team. In regular season action, if they play solid defence and get goaltending, they can win more games than they lose. But you can say that about a dozen other teams in the league.
I watch these games and always ask myself, could this group win 16 games in the playoffs? In my mind, a hard no. Somethings missing.

Fellow fans reeeeeelax. Teams have bad games and streaks throughout the season. PP killed them they need to work on it no doubt. The slashing call was BS player snapped his stick after never seen that called sealed the game. Scheif will help but this proved that they need more scoring depth. They survived Connor being out and Valardi but a C is too much. Not sure why Perfetti wasn't moved back or like some said why not try one of the rookies. Either way their team D is fantastic just need to fix PP and add another scorer. They'll get someone once more teams drop out.

Doesn't help when half the building is cheering for the other team. Maybe Winnipeg doesn't deserve an NHL team. As you know I hate it too. It's inexplicable. Unfortunately it's also a phenomenon in Calgary and Edmonton It’s the same in every Canadian NHL City not named Toronto.

Hopefully Bones gives the team the "no push back" rant. It's up to the players to respond and so far they haven't. Drought of goals is not because 55 is gone. Everyone has seized up. Defense is doing the job PP as predicted was going to cost us games. Last 2 games should have been ours. Everyone knows what to do. Why can't it happen. Panic time, unless the Jets re-ignite their game. Fans won't be impressed either. Good summary. Could just be a mid-season slump that the break will be able to reset...let's hope. I know last year's collapse is too fresh to ignore. That last time bones did that the team turned on him

FYI - here are the losing streaks over two games from the other top NHL teams this season: Boston: Two 3 game losing streaks & one 4 game streak. Vancouver: No losing streak longer than 2 games and had two of those streaks. Colorado: One 3 game losing streak. Florida: One 4 game losing streak. Dallas: One 3 game losing streak. Vegas: One 3 game losing streak & one 4 game streak. Winnipeg: Three 3 game losing streaks.

No frickin game breakers....... Always a lower ehlers injury again or something else in the groin......a 3rd line captain with mediocre skill leading the team......really? Nice guys that like it here becuase they don't fit the toughness lineups elsewhere anymore....... No Bogosians that used to level players along the boards, no Bufugliens that skated around other players with one hand on the stick and the other stiff arming the opposing player......dare I say no Kanes that would crack you with his helmet in a fight and score 2 goals later...... Nope, thse guys are all in Edmonton now because TN doesnt like dirt and grit on this team even if it means they'd be tougher with some skill. I have to agree, every contending team has at least one if not more game breaking players and those teams you never feel are out of it. With the Jets, all their success is defensive play and goaltending which is great when you're even or have the lead. But if they're playing from behind, I never have any confidence that they're going to tie it up let alone win. Never feel like Connor or Scheif or somebody thrive in this situation, because they really don't.

It's the fact that they seem to be lacking something offensively. Mainly, the fact that the PP is not only not improving, it seems to be getting worse and apparently they're hopeless to fix it. I don't know, maybe importance of faceoffs and special teams are overrated...

Ric O you "forgot" shooting somewhere near or on the goal. Apparently that seems to help.

When they were on they were scoring goals from all lines. This could be just one of those team slumps seen it before and it happens on all teams from time to time. But yes they don't have McKinnon that guy is just nuts. They have to rely on 4 lines scoring and when they don't you see this kind of trouble. They'll either trade for some extra offence or maybe a guy from the minors comes up and helps. Lambert?

Past is the past let's think positively maybe it will rub off on the team. Most of the time confidence helps the players immensely. I know its hard for some to be positive....but I'm willing to try anything with our beloved Jets!
