Not a classic win, but a win nonetheless. As has been said here already, Hellebuyck was instrumental in the win.

Last Manitoba update for the night...Thomas Milic has been stellar since being recalled from Norfolk. He is 4-1-1 in the 6 games he has played and all but one had a .920+ save percentage. Goals against averages between 1.01 and 2.78 in those games. Seems very solid on breakaways, as he was in net for both marathon shoot-outs against the Griffins. I've been so out on the Moose this year...shame on me...but I know they were struggling. Do they still have a realistic shot at the playoffs? It's not too hard, because 5 of 7 teams make it from the AHL's Central Division. The 4th and 5th get a mini play-in series to see who faces the top team, while the 2nd & 3rd clash (typically where Manitoba finished while I've been watching them). Right now, Manitoba sits in 6th, one point up on the Iowa Wild and one point down on the Chicago Wolves. The 4th place Rockford IceHogs may also be catchable, but no way the Moose can break into the top 3 this year.

If I'm Bones I'm telling them all just hit the net and shoot every chance you have. How Iaffalo missed the net from that close is mind boggling... Either way a wins a win will take anything at this point. After this break if the PP isn't fixed with all the practice time you have to look at changing that coach.

Jets couldn't have scripted the first period any better. Even Stanley hit a Penguin so hard that he knocked over a Jet standing beside him. Ahh the good ol' days of Buff and friendly fire on his mates

No teammate collisions. And no goals against. We need lower expectations.

Jets win, Awesome, Jets stopped the slide, Awesome👍.
Jets now are off for a number of days before their next game with the Sharks being here mid week or so of next week, lots of time to practice and work on the kinks and gelling together/the 4 forward lines as constructed.
Go Jets Go👍.
G’night all.
Cheers,
2b9😉😃👍

Don't know if any of you saw it, but a Leaf player just cross checked a Senator player right in the face after he scored an empty net goal. A deliberate attempt to injure. Not a hockey play, like the Dillon check. It will be interesting to see what Parros hands out to Morgan Reilly. I think that's who it was. This was my post about it on the other site: "The Leafs' Reilly should be suspended big time for that cross-check to the head after an empty netter against. These NHLers are so fragile, you can't slap a shot into an EMPTY net? It's ridiculous." Cross-checks should be an automatic suspension, you are immediately out of the game, then automatically suspended for the next 4 games. That will solve the problem.

Lambert scores a PP goal (14th this year) in the 3rd period to tie the Moose's game with Grand Rapids, ending the first 3 game without a point streak of his AHL season. Yesterday's match went to 10 shoot-out rounds, but Manitoba ended up losing. Reichel ended up winning it for the Moose in the 7th shootout round tonight. Manitoba is hot lately and may make a late charge for a playoff spot. Last Manitoba update for the night...Thomas Milic has been stellar since being recalled from Norfolk. I think Brossoit is on a one year deal right?

I believe that Milic (who still needs to be signed by Winnipeg) and DiVincentiis (is signed by Winnipeg) may be the Manitoba Moose's tandem next season. Milic is under-sized and has been doubted at almost every level, but he has always performed well and picked up hardware (playing for Canada & in the WHL). I have high hopes for him.
