Pretty good script for the final game. Couple 1st gamers in Lambert & Chibrikov picking up points and then Perfetti coming close to getting 20 goals for the first time (adding 18th & 19th). Jets now the 2nd best record in the West. Only team with less than 200 goals against. The only mark is that Brossoit played extremely well to secure the Jennings and won't even get his name on the trophy. Management really should have gotten him the required games, he deserved it. Agree, I'm really disappointed Jets didn't find a way to get him in 2 more games...they knew about it for a long time. Team decisions for whatever reasons.

Yeah, can't wait. Wish they'd confirm the day and time already! They know the hosting teams....just need to see if Vegas beats the Ducks tonight to lock up a match versus Edmonton. If they pick up 1 pt or less, then the Kings could play the Oilers with a win over Chicago (LA owns tie-breaker & 1 pt back). What I don't know is who finishes ahead if LA & Nashville tie for 7th (Kings need to win in regulation tonight to have equal RW's). Next tie breaker is ROW so Nashville has 1st wild card spot. As you say, LA's only chance to finish higher than 2nd Wild Card is for Knights to lose to Ducks...which falls under the category of anything is possible...

With the Jets winning it, Brossoit will be rewarded in some way/ways by the Jets, canโt see it not happening, the Jets realize how important Brossoit is to the Jets team this season, he will get recognition from the Jets.

Perfetti has to be in the Playoff Lineup, he is money in the Bank to set up and score goals as compared to say Gusttaffson?

Perfetti has to be in the Playoff Lineup, he is money in the Bank to set up and score goals as compared to say Gusttaffson? I don't know how productive Perfetti will be in playoffs but for sure he is a more talented offensive player than Gus. But Gustafsson's strength, checking and defensive play might be more valuable to the Jets in playoffs.
What I've seen of Perfetti lately has me thinking like you, that he could be a valuable playoff performer, but have not seen it consistently enough to be confident about it. I don't think either Perfetti or Gus will be starting the playoffs...may only see them with an injury or two.

Iโm believing that based on Perfettiโs current season, he will learn from it, work on everything that he needs to work on during the offseason, I expect him to be a regular in the lineup next year, including being a regular top six type of forward that produces, itโs a learning curve for him. Think about it, 19 goals in a discombobulated and disappointing season for him/didnโt play a full 82 game season, he will be eventually a very valuable and important part of the Jets going forward. Just my thoughts and opinion. Cheers, 2b9๐๐๐
