Watching this game 7, how can Jet players watch this and not 'see' how much more intensity they have to bring in the playoffs? It is so frigging obvious, the players should only be surprised the first time they are in the playoffs. After that, they know, so if they dont do it, they simply do not have the will to do it. Plain and simple from my perspective. Nailed it.

One consistency, impossibly bad refereeing. A trip on a breakaway no penalty shot no penalty.

And then the refs with their ridiculous decisions that take the game out of the player's hands. Ticky tack call one way. Penalty. Trip on a breakaway. Not. Drives me nuts.

You know, for us proletariat, the broadcaster, CBC here, should have a retired official to explain the call or lack thereof. It could help us understand the calls, and cool or inflame us!

You watch a game like this, whoever wins, and you ask yourself if the Stanley Cup really matters to the majority of the Winnipeg Jets players. You have to wonder.

Well the level of compete and buy in by the players, on both teams, seems to be 2x what we saw of the Jets. Matches what we saw from the AVs

It's inexplicable ek. It's like they just don't understand how much they can affect the outcome. They should start instituting more reviews. Make them fast from the war room. Like picking up a flag in football. That would sharpen the refs up by looking foolish, often They'll go 5 minutes looking at an offside goal. How about a bad penalty call that might create a goal?

It will be interesting to see what the Intermission Lads say of the reffing. Bieksa doesn't filter his message. Should be entertaining.

Bad calls causing goals and today possibly preventing a goal. And the same TO player involved both, ironically.

Oh well, to quote Peter Green, they were less impressed than we were.

You watch a game like this, whoever wins, and you ask yourself if the Stanley Cup really matters to the majority of the Winnipeg Jets players. You have to wonder. Exactly. Even worse the Jets players seemed perplezed as to why the AVs had more intensirty and they did not. One of those talk the talk but don't walk the walk. Most of our players have been in multiple playoff rounds, so they KNOW the intensity goes up. We can see on TV let alone on the ice. Too mnay Jets wilted, again. We see this in all sports, some players can raise their game and others wilt. In the NFL and I am Bengal fan. Our current QB (Joe Burrow) raises his game and our previous QB (Andy Dalton) constantly wilted.

Maybe that's a big part of what separates our boys from the champions. Which millionaires really want to play an extra 2 months of hockey? Pro Bono. For free.

Hopefully players decide this and not some stupid ticky tacky call by the refs

Your money's in the bank. Go through the motions. Say the right things. Then put your feet up and watch real playoff hockey.
That's how I view a lot of Jet players.

Getting to the point where a goal is going to be enormous.
