As good a game that I've seen in these playoffs! Too bad it's only a max of 7 games A very tight series and very entertainingπ. Cheers, 2b9πππ

I had picked the Oilers. I'm starting to realize what a good team Vancouver has. A good mix of talent and grit. And depth that the Oilers lack. They owned most of that game.
One line and 2 superstars isn't cutting it for the Oil.

Tonight's game has everything. Fantastic compete and effort, goaltending, it's amazing to watch. There have been a few suspect calls and for Vancouver some no calls on Edmonton. The Vancouver fan forums will be boiling! Really good series.Β Canucks looking good, really good.Β Such a stark difference between the 8 teams left (7 now) and what the Jets do.Β
Right. Every game I watch in the playoffs, I'm thinking about what we saw from Winnipeg. It's not about just adding a couple of players. The Jets need to be reconstructed. It's not happening quickly. Hurry up and wait, fellow Jet fans.

And of course the Canuck players have far less playoff experience than the Jets so that blows the Jet's excuse out of the water. The Ranger/Hurricanes series was top notch hockey, both teams battling on every shift. Another example of what many of our players do not do.

^ Agree, Round 1 had some good series and round 2 has been pretty good overall but this one has been fun to watch. And I HATE both teams...Oilers slightly more...go Canucks! (This round only)

So, in all honesty, yeah it has been a great series, especially for the Canucks/3rd String Goalie out doing Edmontons 2 backups.
Bottom line, one of these 2 Teams, Van or the Oilers are going up against Dallas.
Dallas is the favourite by far.
I would love to see a Canadian Team in the Stanley Cup Finals and win it.
Hereβs hoping, however, I have my doubts.
Iβm picking Dallas to beat either Van or Edmonton, whomever makes it out of this Van/Edm series doesnβt matter, itβs not going to make a difference, Dallas will beat either of them.
Oh well.
Just my thoughts and opinion all.
Have a great night everyone, Happy May Long Weekendπ»!
Cheers,

Game 7 coming up, itβs in Vancouver, initially speaking I didnβt think this series would go 7 games.

An unfortunate turn of events for the Nucks, Boeser is out indefinitely with a "clotting" issue. Any athlete I remember having a cloting problem has been out a considerable length of time. In the meantime the game today is the only thing to worry about. When we lost Conner, Leafs lost Reilly and Boston lost 64 for a variable number of games, all those teams went on "heaters" and won almost all their games. When Marchand came back off concussion protocol for the 7th game, he was a non factor. Strange phenomenon, but hopefully it works for tonight's game.

Terrible first period by the Nucks. 4 minute penalty. No shots. Arggh. Misery loves company they say. The Jets had a few of those this year. Can't hit the net or their own player's sticks. High point? Escaping all even. They can thank Artur for that.
