I don't think Canucks will be able to shutdown or keep up with the Oilers. And what about that goaltending? Last 2 Canadian teams left. Should get pretty nasty. I think Oilers in 6.

I will go along with you as well on this series, Edmonton will be a lot tougher to handle than Nashville. Side Note: This series guarantees that there will be a Canadian Team in the Western Conference Finals/Finals, Final Iβm not sure which is correct, you know what I meanπ. Cheers, 2b9πππ

Judging by the first two games, this series could go 7 games.

I am rooting for the Canucks who are playing the Oilers exactly right. I am PO'd that an (arguably) lesser-talented team than the Jets is doing so well. Beyond that, I have little interest in the playoffs.

Great and disappointing game at the same time. Oilers high end talent is second to none, but their 3 and 4th lines are suspect. Vancouver is talent more evenly spread but are they susceptible to forechecking. At times the Oilers had the Jets, I mean Canucks, penned in their end for long periods of time. The most disappointing part was, surprise, the refereeing. McDavid highsticks Quinn Hughes and draws blood while they are fighting for the puck. No call and no linesman says otherwise. So how is it that the 2 most valuable players for their respective teams has no eyes, all 8 on them? Cost the Canucks a 4 minute PP and the Oil kept their momentum. The game was back and forth at a pace the Jets could not maintain. And it was my perspective that all the players were playing a 200 foot game. Fun too watch...but it was a late one.

Silvos is absolutely stoning the Oil. Looking like a combo of Hasek and Fleury. He was bombarded by Edmonton and had help from the Vanc Postal Service. Meantime the Oil have a problem. Who to start? Skinner looked from bad to awful. Heating up. Oil came in prohibitive favorites and now will have to win the next game.

Tonight's game has everything. Fantastic compete and effort, goaltending, it's amazing to watch. There have been a few suspect calls and for Vancouver some no calls on Edmonton. The Vancouver fan forums will be boiling!

As good a game that I've seen in these playoffs! Too bad it's only a max of 7 games

The Vancouver fan forums will be boiling! Really good series. Canucks looking good, really good. Such a stark difference between the 8 teams left (7 now) and what the Jets do.
