If this was the first time I ever saw Jetsengine post then I would agree he is not a troll. However, he has been doing this for years. Pointing out the negatives when things are negative doesn't make him a troll. His history does however. That is what people are tired of.
When respected people point out negatives people listen, when idiots point negatives, they are still idiots. Its that simple. Not saying anyone here is an idiot, just making a point.

Noel has made some pretty suspect coaching, but that could have been desperation to get something from this team more than anything.

I think the coach needs to be given some slack. Its still too early to get rid of him, but its definitely not too early to recognize the negatives in the team. At that point the coach needs to provide clear direction and coaching to the team so that they can go forward in an improved manner. I don't see the poor aspects of our team play improving at all over these three games, its the same mistakes over and over again and that's worrisome. These next few games will show if Noel can make those overall big picture adjustments to our team's play and will show if he truly is an NHL coach.
As far as the "trolling' issue, it gets quite tiring to hear people throw out that accusation so often on this forum. People here are so quick to judge everyone's posts that it makes people paranoid and fear posting anything against the grain. Getting annoying.

I don't see people throwing out that accusation often on this forum. Yes people call the OP out because he has a history with many of us from the old forum. He is an outright troll who only posts here to cause a stir. Unfortunately most people only read his one negative post about something negative which looks fine but they don't look into his posting history or know anything about him. People are allowed to be negative, its great for debate. However when you make crap up just to cause a stir, that is a straight up troll definition. Did he do that in this post? Not necessarily. However, he has many many times in the past.

People here are so quick to judge everyone's posts that it makes people paranoid and fear posting anything against the grain. Getting annoying. I agree, that accusation is thrown around too often. Just because you don't like what someone says doesn't make the person a troll. We the mods are here every day and read everything that everyone posts. I remember reading an outright lie a couple of days ago that "MTSC is the only arena that plays rock and roll". My troll radar went up instantly...however that's been about the extent of it IMO. We can't be banning people just because they point out the flaws in what is obviously a flawed team (at this time). I like to have the freedom to criticize the team as well without being attacked by other forum members who call an objective critic a "hater". When we see TRUE troll activity, actual "jetsengine" behaviour, we will address it. All of the mods (Wagner, Kehler and I) are long long time ROTJ members and have witnessed jetsengine's handiwork first hand many times. That person may very well be among us and we would not hesitate for a second to ban anyone who engages in his well known antics. In the meantime if you suspect someone is a troll DON'T FEED THEM, let us know via PM or the report function. Complaining on the open board just creates a gang mentality that we can't allow.

Everone is getting too uptight right now, but I have to admit I have been asking myself if Noel himself is ready for the NHL. The season is young yet, so we'll see.

Agreed it is way to early to judge our coach or coaching staff but we have to ask our selfs a question. Noel was the Blue Jackets interim coach for half a season after firing there coach before he came to the Moose. The Blue Jackets could have sign him at the end of that year to be there long term coach and decided against it and went with someone else. (Funny thing they hired the Moose's coach!) So question is; Why did the Blue Jackets not keep him as there coach?

Here are some quick fixes for the Jets to try (free of charge from me ) 1. Move Byfuglien to first line right wing. Wheeler looks disinterested, and you want to keep Ladd on the left wing. 2. Move Burmistrov to first line centre (just tell him to dish the puck about a half-second sooner than he usually does, and he may get a ton of assists). 3. Give Scheifele back to the Colts before his confidence is totally shot. Tell him to practice particularly hard in the face-off circle and the weight room. 4. Dress Meech. 5. Find out what Charlie Huddy's job is with the team and ask him to do it.

Ramsey was awful. The team was among the worst in the league. Panic after three games against playoff teams is silly.

I don't see the move for Burmistrov to the first line to be long term, but Little has done so little that perhaps this wake-up call may help.

Are you freaking serious?? Three games in and you are ready to pull the chute? I 'm all for looking critically at things---and you did that in spades with your rant about how minor league opening day was last week, or so you would have us believe. You clearly have an axe to grind or are an extremely pessimistic person, whichever, but your assertion that Noel is no good and Ramsey should have been retained is absurd. This is YOUR speculation and observation based on your jaded view of the Jets. Give it up and lets get behind our team. Your negativity is astounding, and as you say after your posts, sorry, but it is the truth.

Wow guys. With conversations like this we're actually starting to sound like a bunch of rookie fans. I don't know what you guys are smoking but I think I want some. 3 GAMES!!! Relax. This team has faced distractions that other teams have not. A new city, new homes, new ownership, new GM, new coach, new faces on the team, and new fan support. Everyone needs to settle down a bit. And when I say a bit, I mean quit freakin out like a bunch of bitch'$! 3 GAMES boys.... relax. I just like everyone else right now is hoping for a win. Give it time and stop this fire the coach bullCrap! As fans.... now that we are in the NHL we can't be sounding like a bunch of uneducated hockey fans. Claude will right the ship. As for the guys who are saying we should have kept Ramsey....... where were you 2 months ago? Quit your bitch!ng and moaning. Suck it up and cheer on your team! I'm dissapointed in the effort tonight to but I also realize that this is a process. Stop pressing the panic alarm!! Toronto went 4-0 last year to start the year and the TO media was already saying they were gonna win the cup. Where did they finish?? Out of the playoffs! There are a lot of ups and downs throughout the season. As fans we can't jump on every peak and valley! You're right, it's only 3 games and not time to panic and make wholesale changes. At the same time, as you have just expressed that you're disappointed, others have the right to be disappointed as well and point out where they think things have gone wrong. That's to be expected after any loss. The posts would no doubt be much different after a win and we would not tell people to stop accentuating the positives in that case. Yes Ric... guys can obviously be disappointed. Who wouldn't be after a 0-3 start. However, the title of this thread and the arguments that followed struck me odd. Be disappointed but lets not second guess everything TN has done so far. They like Noel. Let's just give this team some time to come together. I don't like all the negativity, and I think we look like idiots when we're starting threads like this.

Whatever you think should have been done, Ramsay is an excellent head coach and Dudley is one of the best GM's. I think they got that group in Atlanta to overachieve.
Winnipeg has zero scoring ability from what I've seen so far.
