With widespread distribution of viable vaccines expected in the first two weeks of 2021, it ought to make a start of the new season possible at the end of January. That said, the chaotic situation in the US makes the large-scale vaccination there uncertain at best. The situation in Canada ought to be a lot better and thus make the start of the hockey season much more possible. normally i would agree with you but the US, but with operation warpspeed they have deals in place and distribution ready to go...sadly we did nothing for 7 months and our fearless leader has left us at the back of the line with the 2 closest vaccines so we will be behind the average person in the US

So go get your shot next week and stop sticking your nose in other peoples buisiness. Free country after all Most of us are really getting sick of the "our rights are being violated" crowd. If it were up to me, I would support forced vaccinations. God forbid, if there ever was another World War. You would be the type of person that would complain of your rights being violated, and refuse to fight, if Canada was ever attacked. If it were up to me, I would not "stick my nose in your business." I would hold you down, and restrain you, while sticking a vaccination shot in your body. I would tase you with a cattle prod upon resistance, if it were legal to do so. Well it's a good thing it's not up to you and your dictator mindset. I know I wont be getting the vaccine anytime soon and I wouldn't recommend it to anyone either.

I am all in favor of issuing vaccination cards, once the COVID vaccine is readily available to the general public. Want their rights and freedoms? Fine. However, if they choose not to be vaccinated, don't let them in stadiums, concerts, or other large gatherings. Also take away their health care coverage. These idiots are causing a resurgence of measles outbreaks throughout the developed World, by only thinking of themselves.

Then don't bother coming to Jets games or any sporting event. I'd rather not get some disease from you.

One cannot smoke indoors, due to the effects of second hand smoke. In fact, I believe one cannot even smoke in outdoor stadiums any more. Try smoking at the arena, restaurant, or pub. You will get booted out, or face a significant fine. Do you have a valid argument about why you should flaunt public health measures to reduce the spread of a deadly virus, or are you just going to continue on with the red herrings.

Pfizer decided to sell it to other countries like Canada. BTW, I would stop buying into that Conservative rhetoric. It was proven false today, as Canada has secured over 3,000,000 vaccine doses to be distributed by the end of January!

Should you choose to live in isolation, no one will bother you, but if you want to share the streets and buildings with others, you have a legal and moral responsibility to those that you share these spaces with.

Canada will have 250,000 doses next week with distribution to start within 48 hours. Trump and his feckless sycophants have totally screwed it up. They have stoked fear of the vaccine to the point where about a third of Americans are saying they will not take the vaccine. Remember, Trump wanted to just let the pandemic wash over the country in the false hope it would create herd immunity. Or in Trump's case, herd mentality.

These idiots are causing a resurgence of measles outbreaks throughout the developed World, by only thinking of themselves. I Have a daughter-in-law who is a R.N. in one of our out of town hospitals working back to back 16 hour shifts, sleeping at the hospital so she can get those couple extra hours of sleep to go on, averages 40 hours in 3 days and is in contact with covid 19 patients daily. This is real, I myself have had a close friend die, Charles Peterson a scout for MLB just google it lot of stories about him and his death. My daughter is there for the vulnerable, she makes more sacrifices then you and me every day, but she also said there is much stupidly going on. She also works at a personnel care home and can't understand if you can't visit people why the hell are they still allowing personnel care homes to have visitors, a place with the highest % of death??? She also said she will not take the vaccine and I won't either, a virus that has a 99% recovery rate taking something with a 90% protection rate that is not being properly tested, that has 0% accountability, in other words if this ends up killing you or your family there is nothing you can do about it. If this vaccine become mandatory are you prepared to be vaccinated now for all the things you were never vaccinated for because of your age? in other words i'm turning 56 there were only a few things given to me as a child in my childhood vaccination, now there are maybe 40 more things given out, are you prepared to take all the ones we never had to take, you must have heard the stories of autism and childhood vaccinations and the growing concerns, you want to roll the dice on that too, I would be very careful before jumping on that bandwagon. Funny I got a virus almost two years ago, scary as all hell and lasted a touch over a year in my lungs, doctors said nothing you can do about it and was probably was H1N1 or was it, they are slowing finding out Covid 19 has being here longer then previously announced, as they test blood in the US from last December and have found Covid 19 antibodies in it......

Nope 249,000 vials = 124,500 people...deficient as is Trudeau's response....stayed at home combing his hair I guess...so we get to vaccinate 0.4% of our population but due to their magnificent response the US will vaccinate 3% by the end of the year and one-third off their population by February while we muddle along at a lousy 10% by then.... Don't be afraid of the truth and stop watching fake news
