Come to think about it, can you imagine this, True North has a press conference to release the new Jerseys and out walks Selanne wearing the Home Jersey, now that would be amazing

We're just kidding ourselves thinking that Temmu would sign in Wpg for his last year in the league. I don't even want to let the possiblity of him signing in our city to creep into my head. It would be awesome to have another Stanley Cup winner on our team to pass on his experience to the young guys, but it's just not gonna happen.
Now on the 1% chance that he does sign here....... adding an 80 point guy to our roster even for one year wouldn't be a bad thing. If we had the opportunity to sign him.... we'd be idiots if we didn't!

reports out of Finland indicate it is almost certain that Teemu will lace em up for one more year. Reliable sources are reporting that he is faster and in better shape than most people in their 20's. His knees are also holding up well.

I think what should happen is Selanne finishes this season with the ducks and signs with the jets next year for 1 game and we retire his number here. That's the way it should be!

That would be nice but Selanne will have his number retired by the Ducks, maybe both teams could? I doubt the TNSE will want to though, never know though.
