I think there is a possibility. I'd say 33%. Call me crazy.
Retire 33% Ducks 33% Jets 33%

Thx. darrylwolski Darryl Wolski nhlwinnipeg from a professional agents inside loop .....no. However Selanne is a greater chance of happening.

We've been told a few times about how something or other would never happen. That's all I'm saying ...

He's definitley staying with Ducks. He loved playing here and I'd love for him to come back but it was a long time ago and he's settled in Aneheim.

I'd like him to return, but as 'Best Jets Fan' states, he's rooted in Anaheim now

We've been told a few times about how something or other would never happen. That's all I'm saying ... Exactly how I see it... He's definitley staying with Ducks. He loved playing here and I'd love for him to come back but it was a long time ago and he's settled in Aneheim. Not necessarily. He's already thought about retiring - he's quickly approaching that time, especially given the troubles he's had with his knees. I can definitely see him wanting to play his "swan song" season in Winnipeg where he would go out with a bang, idolised and worshipped for a season. It could easily happen with two possible scenarios; he stays rooted in Anaheim and pretty much commutes for one season, or if he plans to go back to Finland after his career he would be uprooting from Anaheim anyway so he could enjoy an extended stop off at his point of arrival on the way... I'm going with 33%...

He would be an idiot to retire after getting 75 points last year.

It wouldn't make him an idiot to retire. In a way it's smarter to retire while your king than to wait till you suck.

75 points is fantastic!!!! But it's the toll it takes on his body that'll be the deciding factor in his decision to stay or retire.
