WEED IS NOT ILLEGAL! Like how john crunken said it. it's decrimalized so don't go out and do it right away. Weed only got this bad name because of oil and money. hemp does most if not all of what oil does. U can have 27g on u and just get a ticket, if there is more then they say your trafficing, your aloud to buy not sell, how would those pipe, bong stores be able to sell stuff? same bloddy thing Side Note: To anwser your question visa vi Pipe/bong stores, which are known as headshops. Headshops operate under the premise that their pipes, bongs and rolling papers are going to be used for tobacco which is essentially legal. Obviously thats not what most people there buy them for but as long as the business acts as if it is there ok. If you were to go into a headshop and ask for a bong good for smoking weed they would play stupid or if you asked if you could buy some or if you knew someone who deals they would probably tell you to get out.

I'm amazed you made sense of that Selanne. And yes, you're right, it's all for tobacco or legal herbal smoking blends.

I remember a lot of stoners celebrating thinking their messiah had come when Obama was elected. That turned out well

I'm not sure what I think on this issue. As a fastidious conservative I want to see all potheads locked up for decade-long sentences but I'm also in the 'less government is better' camp.
I never thought a whole lot about pot legalization to be candid. I've kept an eye on this thread and actually thought about the issue and I'm no further ahead. And I'm not helped but the information that's available out there. Google 'pot legalization' and you get bipolar results. Either ultimate condemnation (noting that cannabis roots reach into hell itself and smoking it causes cancer, insanity, and will swap the oil and gas in your beloved sports car) or ultimate approval, claiming that toking up will cure your cancer, cure your insanity, and give you an extra 50 hp under the hood.
I would like to see a truly unbiased, factual take on pot, something that looks at both the benefits of legalization and the pitfalls. Everything I've been able to find out there is clearly from someone with an axe to grind.
In the absence of more info though, I'm barely in the 'status quo' camp, but awfully close to the 'keep it out of my face and we'll be OK' camp. If someone's smoking pot and it's not bothering me, or anyone else, who cares?
And this is coming from a hard-core 'lock 'em up and throw away the key' guy.

I have a buddy who got a pot charge 20 years ago, a fine under 100 dollars, and as of today can't cross the border, when Vince Li gets out he will be able to cross! This world is truly Fudged Up!
