This could be an over inflation to scare the politicians into giving them the 80M. I don't doubt they lose money but I think there is a chance that it's not that bad. I know the market sucks but still. How were they always able to find an owner in the past with a worst CBA? Just my guess but I think the team is losing money but overall making money on the arena. I think what ownership is doing is trying to trick the politicians into thinking the entire thing loses money so they can make more profit by getting an 80M handout. They have seen what happened in Glendale and think hey maybe the politicians here are just as dumb so it don't hurt to ask. Worst they can say is no.

I'm willing to bet that the third area to get a team will be Vegas, right after QC and Seattle. Put a firm (reasonable) timeline on that and quote some odds and I'll likely take that action. m. Ummm...how about 2 years? You give me 10:1!

panthers are asking for 78 million over about 15 years from the county, if put to vote now it wouldnt pass. However the fake save the arena study finds that if the panthers leave hen the promotion group leaves (NO Flippin Poo morons) so the arena value drops...completely ignoring that you can hire someone else to manage the arena.
The commissioner of Broward county has reported that relocation threats HAVE been made.
Lets see what hppens. Maybe the panthers cna negotiate a relocation fee with the county or threaten bankruptcy which kills the lease

Broward County will go for the no one else can manage the arena and without the team the arena will dry up and blow away. Any southern politician would that's not in Atlanta. To run for office in the south you have to have it in your DNA that you will subsidize crappy hockey teams that no one cares about.

Probably most of it. Even if they don't I don't see the team leaving since the arena makes $$$ on concerts. I also do think in time real attendance will go up a bit. I think the move to end freebees will pay off a little. Panthers still won't draw much but it will be better than currently.
