ok ok. here is what i think. being g a y is something that you are indeed born with. however, there are some people who make the choice to be g a y. and that is also fact. Thats a silly argument to make in a discussion about g-a-y rights. The drunk girls at my bar who like to make out and have three-ways but dont indentify as g-a-y have absolutely nothing to do with g-a-y rights or persecution of homosexuals or the subtle homophobia that too often is allowed to exist in our society (including this board). In a way, saying that is subtle homophobia because you're sort of making an excuse for it. Grumpz, I feel the same way. I hesitated even posting in this thread because I knew I'd eventually be taken to task but we arent the ones who should have to worry about ridicule. It's the people with the ignorant "opinions" that should be made to feel unwelcome.

The fact is, doing it by choice doesn't make you g a y. Anne Heche isn't and never was g a y. She tried it to better her career. From the S4 of Grumpz! Phase 1 complete! Now figure out what to do with Buff & find a #1 goalie.

And you use whatever you need to justify your phobias I suppose.
