I'm not an architect, can the deck hold the weight of an extra row of seats?

I'm not an architect, can the deck hold the weight of an extra row of seats? But did you stay at a Holiday Inn express last night?

I'm not an architect, can the deck hold the weight of an extra row of seats? If they use the engineers that did the football stadium used, then the answer is absolutely yes, we hope, maybe, hell just do it!

Source? I always thought there was room there and that it didn't look right that the upper bowl didn't hang lower over the suites. However, I did not know if it was possible to add a row. 15,554 would be nice. Was that not almost the exact capacity of the old Arena on Maroons Road?

Sorry. Let me clarify. Certain suite holders were told about the change. Expect the seats in place for next season.

Chipman mentioned they were looking into adding extra seats on his interview today on H&L, not confirmed just looking into the feasibility.
This would be awesome for me as I'm in the 400's on the waiting list

FP article this morning sure seems to confirm that this is seriously being worked on (planning). Less than 500 seats though.

Interesting comment about physically expanding the MTS Centre not being possible. Especially all those rumors in the past about raising the roof, expanding over Hargrave, etc.

Chipman said they will hang off of the 300 level. I can't wrap my head aroudn where these seats would be located. If they hand off of the 300 level wouldn't it obstruct the suites? It doesn't look liek theres much room there.

^I'm no archetect or engineer, but my thinking is it would be a single row where those blue TV add screens are. It would just wrap around that edge and extend it slightly. If its only 250 to 300 seats, it won't take up a lot of realestate to spread out one extra row of seats. But I really have no idea what I'm talking about here.

Any more rows added directly to the 300 level will create massive obstructions for the current 300 level seat holders. It has to be somehow underneath the video ribbon IMO.
