The Toronto Blue Jays have tied their franchise record of 11 straight wins against the Boston Red Sox today to remain 1 game back of the AL East lead. Is this team good enough to end their 22 year playoff drought?

I'm the biggest critic of the Jays/Rogers/the dome. I will shock everyone. The Jays will make the playoffs. The lineup is stacked. The AL east sucks. Jays end their drought.

Prediction. I think the Blue Jays are now the favorite to win it all with Price/Tulowitzski(sp).

Last couple years I've been watching the Jays in 30 recap instead of the actual 3 hour game. Lately I've been watching full games and same with my buddies. We've been BBMing back and forth like its a Jets game we're watching.
Finally an awesome time being a Jays fan

^^^ Good for you and your buddies!!! All Jays fans deserve this. Be sure to enjoy this. Not to be negative but Price, Buehrle and Estrada will be free agents after the year. You never know when you will see a team like this again.

The Blue Jays are leading 10-3, during the 7th inning stretch. The Yankees are losing 2-1. If the Jays win, and Yankees lose, Toronto will take sole possession of 1st place in the AL East.
The last time the Blue Jays were division leaders this late in the season, I was in high school!

Bodog.ca lists the Blue Jays as the favourite to win the World Series this year at 4-1 odds

They should be the favorites. They have the best team on paper. Hopeful IF they win Rogers will figure out this is a big market who should have teams similar to this ever year and replace the dome so they don't have to be a bottom 3rd market.

I can't see them replacing the Dome anytime soon. I always hated it, but right now I would think it will take at least 10-15 years to seriously consider replacing the SkyDome. |
