Congrats to the Royals! No group of players in MLB have ever deserved a championship more. They played as a total team and in the last round saved MLB a major embarrassment(Rogers winning the world series).

Marco Estrada is returning to the Blue Jays for 2 years $26M. Not a bad signing.

The Blue Jays signed J.A. Happ to a 3 year 36M dollar deal. Happ is mostly a journeyman but Pittsburgh's excellent pitching coach changed his arm slot after he was traded there and he had a 1.85era in the last 2 months of the season. The Jays off season is now mostly done. The Happ signing is confirmation that David Price won't be back.
Around the rest of the league it's looks like David Price is going to Boston. Peter Gammons reports the Red Sox are willing to overpay by 20-30M to sign him. Boston is desperate for an ace. Jordan Zimmerman is going to Detroit for 5 years $110M. The Cubs are going to be careful and avoid the big names like Price. Rumor is they are going to bring back Jeff Samardzja on a 4 year deal. He had dinner with Theo last week and has been texting his former teammate. I love this move if it happens. For 4 years he will be a steal. Cubs already have 2 aces. They just need average to slightly above average guys.
