^^^^That is just too funny^^^^
Most fans attend after the holidays has always been my favourite excuse.
Would that be Thanksgiving, Christmas, Boxing Day, New Years, Presidents Day, Martin Luther King Day, Good Friday, Easter Monday?
Not matter what the excuse is, it is about time the fans of Arizona supported their hockey team before its gone.

Jets fans excuse of the day: we used to be nice members of the human race, but the very existence of a hockey team in a warm climate has turned us into mean, vindictive people who want to kick a team and their struggling fanbase while their down: even after we got our heart's desire.

Support your team to the point where you're at least not a black eye on the National Hockey League, a very public disgrace that is mocked by every 'Sports Center" style highlights show there is and we will stop calling for the end to the Coyotes.

Sounds like this guy's doing his part - it's the other four million Phoenixians (sp??) who aren't doing theirs. The new owner should place the onus right on the fans. Drive to 13000 or relocation. Don't like it? Tough. Feel like you're being blackmailed? Tough. Nearly a quarter of a billion dollars have been lost by this team - money lost by a bunch of nice guys (except Gretzky). Maybe it's time for a nasty guy. m.

But don't come on here, and act like there is no reason why we don't respect the Arizona fan base. Sure, some real hockey fans would lose their team if the Coyotes lost but the market as a whole has proved they don't deserve the team. It's a good thought (a drive to 13) but it's not going to happen, and we all know why...

I recall some of the Coyote players mocking their own fans. Was it Biz nasty tweeting things like "it must have been dress as an empty seat night" and "fans must have thought the game started at 11pm because no one was here" Toyota has sure gotten a great value for putting advertising on the seats at jobing.com.

23. Not until they bring the Glow Puck back; if I can't see it, I won't watch it
(Incidentally, this ALWAYS frustrates me when I hear someone say this...my mother, father, sister, and a few of my college friends don't watch hockey, and they pull that same excuse.
...
I've NEVER had trouble seeing the puck, or knowing where it is--and I don't have perfect vision, either, I'm colorblind, have cataracts, and used to need glasses.
And even when I CAN'T see the puck...you watch the players, and the direction of the play.
HOW HARD IS THIS?)

Best hockey related stand-up bit I ever heard: "So Americans really can't see the puck without a coloured streak behind it? A black puck on white ice?! That's weird... because they've never had to much too much trouble seeing the difference between black and white before..."
