The funny thing is: Reason # 1; not before Christmas was seriously used as an excuse in the past. Yotes fans, COG, and to a lesser extent the NHL have all mentioned that attendance usually picked up after the Christmas holidays. That's over 40% of the season, that they shrug their shoulders and say.... "Well that's just the way it is, it'll pick up after Christmas."

I remembered they had this in the ROTJ boards before! That was totally funny shizz! Yeah, I'm actually the one who put it up there.

If we both did, I broke it down game by game. But it's all good, cause the Yotes fans do fabricate an excuse everytime, except when they play Detroit or Chicago, then it's: see we can come close to a sell out!

Doing that made me laugh quite a bit while at work! Thanks for that and hope this forums' users continue to contribute to this version of the list!

I remember I posted it in October at around the beginning of the season. Other people added to them. Then, in December, shortly after that COJ Council Meeting, you posted a list as well with the excuse for all the rest of their home games. This was during the time that it looked like Hulsizer had the sale closed and that the Joke fans couldn't use lack of ownership as an excuse anymore.

Jets fan excuse of the day:
2. We don't care about victories, we love our young, no-talent kids (and that tubby boatnik). They'll learn to win by the time they hit 30.
3. No, really, we never wanted the Coyotes these past few years. We've always been waiting with anticipation for a team that hasn't made the playoffs the past two seasons.
4. We enjoy paying through the nose to end each visit walking glumly to our cars.

Good luck with that new ownership situation! lol

I respect you as a fan of the Coyotes, but if you will simply sit here and get offended every time anyone here mentions your precious team, then you are in the wrong fan forum. The -22 karma rating is kindof a hint.
